  1. German Shepherd Malinois Rottweiler Newfoundland Greyhound
  2. There is a female Husky (Mia) at Sippy Creek Refuge if you want to look into her. I'm not sure of her age but she looks young.
  3. Oh poor girl. I would go to the vets just to be sure too.
  4. I have used Jane Harper down here, so perhaps you could contact her and see if she knows of anyone up there? And I do use a prong. http://www.dogsontrack.com.au/
  5. Awesome thread! Miss Molly - my girl is special
  6. I don't even take my girl to the beach in the heat of the day as the sand is too hot to walk her on.
  7. Oh she is so adorable! I agree about how quickly you forget (intentionally!!!) the puppy stages!
  8. Oh this is the BEST news! You guys are the greatest, thank you so much for all you have done for her!
  9. Oh no, I hope by tomorrow on fluids he is much better *hugs*
  10. I received mine today too - Miss Molly loves her i-squeaks and Cooper loves chasing the tail thingee!
  11. Oh I have tears in my eyes from those wonderful photo's. I so hope she finds a wonderful home soon
  12. I only feed raw and I aim for at least 3 different protein sources a week, usually more if I can swing it. But for raw meaty bones (edible) I primarily feed chicken.
  13. Knew there was a reason why I like Pink! Good on her, the world needs more like her
  14. I got an email to say mine was dispatched. Bugger was hoping for extra pressies for the pups Oh well it will be a happy new year!
  15. Molly is my first dog I ever crate trained and I would never not from now on. Cooper sleeps in a crate next to my bed at night and if I take Molly out (beach/walk whatever) or I have to pop to the supermarket in he goes. I have a 42 crate for Molly (and she is on the small size of the standard for GSD) but she is never really in it now. I think for puppies anyway it is such a good idea. Even though I've puppy proofed as much as possible there is still so much harm he could get into. I guess I am lucky as I am home 24/7 so he isn't in it that much.
  16. I hope your pup recovers from this quickly She looks beautiful by the way
  17. Awww that is so lovely! What wonderful people
  18. I'm sorry she is not well I don't know about syringing with dogs but I know in cats you have to be careful they don't aspirate it. For nausea perhaps you could try slippery elm bark from chemist or health food shop.
  19. Yah I got an email saying my order had been shipped!
  20. On the Sunny Coast, there is Pt Cartwright after 4pm and before 8am (I think those times are correct), Kawana beach between certain beach access and North Shore beach is the same (no hour restrictions). I take Molly swimming at North Shore everyday if that weather is good, it's brilliant and one way to tire her out and I get to paddle around too!
  21. Oooh I have my fathers old Praktica packed away somewhere! It's 42 years old and the last time I used it was probably 10 years ago! Hand held light meter and all! It took brilliant pics! I also have my at the time very expensive Minolta 9xi too
