  1. I have tile throughout the house and with only 1 small GSD I vacumm daily! I brush her quickly everyday and it makes no difference. You learn to live with the fur tumbleweeds that blow around
  2. Molly with her dam and littermate (she loves water but will only swim if others are swimming too!)
  3. I had high hopes for Molly (GSD) to have 'proper' ears! I waited too long to tape/glue and she is two with floppy ears. I was a bit upset initially as she is the first pb dog (others were x's) and I did want her to look like the breed standard. Now I could care less, as it just makes her look individual
  4. Oh she is hilarious! Congrats by the way! She is beautiful and I can live vicariously through you
  5. That is just so very lovely And I hope beautiful Miss Brennan feels better asap, Molly sends her a get well kiss
  6. If there is any chance it is a paralysis tick, you really want to going to the vet asap. The longer the toxin is untreated the worse the outcome can be. Good luck.
  7. I love my vet, he is fully supportive of my decision to feed raw. He knows I will titer test and is more than happy about that. With both my crf cats, he knows I try to feed a home-cooked diet instead of hills prescription which they won't eat. He gets on the floor to say hello to Molly which is the icing on top for me I certainly think you need to haave a vet that you are comfortable with, so I am another who agrees.
  8. I am so pleased he is OK My MIL's dog was in the same situation about 3 weeks ago, and after an overnight stay at the vets, she came home. They are disgusting things.
  9. My MIL's dog had a paralysis tick attached about three weeks ago, she uses advantix on her. Thankfully after a night at the emergency vet she is fine. The vet there said to use advantix and the Preventic collar. I think I may do this for my girl even though she doesn't wear collars unless we are out.
  10. Molly has a lizard tongue, we had to teach her the command "no licking" but whenever my father comes over she has to sneak a lick of his feet in!
  11. My DH is in a wheelchair and when we went to visit the puppies, Miss Molly came bounding over not phased by the chair as a few of the others were. And also she was the runt so I had a soft spot for her! And even though we have a few training issues, she is my best friend and I can't imagine life without her. Next pup will definitely be the breeders pick for us though - lesson learned here!
  12. Im on the Sunny coast if that is any help for helping hold the world's grumpiest Wheaten?
  13. Just the one dog here too although I am starting to search for breeders for number 2!
  14. A German Shepherd and starting to look at breeders to add another one in the nearish future!!!!
  15. I need one, DH is in a wheelchair and I miss us being able to hold hands without him going in circles like a 1 legged duck
  16. Awww what a good girl she is! Those two dogs with the bacon were amazing!
  17. I only just saw this otherwise I could have helped transport. I hope no news is good news?
  18. I was going to have Molly titred last time, but I left it too late as we were joining an agility club, apparently the results take ages to come back. And yes it was going to cot me way more than the vac. From next year she will only have titres done.
  19. Krislin you can also create a CD from Picasa if that's any help.
  20. And also if possible, know the route to the after hours vet, if you are panicking it is not so easy to follow directions.
