Haha! I'm sure he would but the other boys would laugh at him! And Rosie is already the man of the house, can't emasculate him more! Haha. I don't mind the orange, I just hadn't considered it as one of his colours. Haha. Having said that, he does have leopard print jammies for the snow!

I've looked at them before and they're probably the best bet, but a red or something would rule! Haha.

It looks nifty as, alas, black dog! Haha. Would only leave the purple or orange! Will add it to the list, do wish we had more colour options though!

Hello! This week we lost another collar. Gus swims every day in beach/creek/puddle, whatever. He loves mud and sand and being a total grub. I've been buying cheap nylon collars but those get wet and seem to sag and droop, they get loose over time and they fade and lose their shape pretty quick. I'd love a nice leather collar but don't think it'd cope will with El Piglet and his filthy ways. Mainly the salt water. Now he's full grown I'd really like a nice collar for him, but it would have to be pretty hardcore to stay nice. Any suggestions?

I do too. Only on dry foods though.

I have a dog who belongs in that family and the soft mouth thing is thrown around a bit. Let me tell you, if Gus got a bird he would probably kill it with love, or clumsiness, or shock. When he was younger everything went in his mouth, a bird would be no exception. There's noooooooo way I'd rely on that.

One would assume if they were watched someone would have informed you, intervened before it got so bad and ideally noticed the wounds/sought vet treatment. You're not in Vic are you? Haha.

I just happened to be reading here and have to say how appalling that is, Snook! IMO someone needs to be watching them at all times in daycares, and I would expect that vet treatment would be sought for any wounds by the daycare as soon as it happened. That's truly awful!

I have such a long list.... I'd love an IG, Border Terrier, Tibbie or a frenchie or Boston or Griffon de Bruxellois if we go the small dog route. An Aus Shep or a toller if we go up a notch. I'd also like a wirehaired pointer one day and toller and a saluki and a greyhound... The list is literally endless. I would love to keep having flat coated retrievers too. Gus didn't have a name until he got here. He had a shortlist but I can't name animals in advance. All our animals have old person names though. Gus might have been Icarus if he had suited it. Icky would have suited though. What a grub he is...

Could be, but that's a huge leap to make on very little info, and IMO pretty unlikely.

I'm sick of some small dog owners using this as an excuse for poor behaviours. Dogs are dogs, poorly behaved dogs need dealing with and treating as dogs. I certainly don't believe its all, or that its a legitimate 'syndrome'

I agree, Megan. The work done gas a lot of value, and in much the same way I agree if the trespassing didn't happen the dogs would still be there. Its not even so much her work I have issue with, its the way her and her followers treat people and encourage others to treat people who might question or offer differing ideas. That's not sustainable or a good strategy.

Knowingly or not it sounds like you have. Sounds very dodgy, I too can't understand not papering a pup unless you have something to hide.

I'm with Snook there. I found that camw across as awfully bad service and a less than stellar representation of the company as a whole.

I know its a whole other argument but it doesn't look fit for purpose or fit for work at all if that is the ideal. A while ago someone posted a pic of a lab who was all muscle and not an ounce of fat on her, lots of people here were pretty appalled at that too. Interesting stuff

But she won't have a well life, or a long or happy one by the looks. And how could this woman have known that she would even be mobile or as she says that her organs werent being cruahed by her ribs when she fell in love with the pup? It strikes me as cruel to let it get to the point where she feels pain and needs to be euthanised. And how can you say without a doubt she isn't suffering? I can't believe she lives a life free of any pain. I'm sure she's a tough cookie but I'd have let her go at birth.
