I have 4 cats and would own heaps more if I could :) The fact is these cats need to either be taken to the pound, taken back by the owner or signed over to someone else I do not believe being pts is the first thing that can happen to them. Ifi had a choice of my cats being dumped and living wild or pts I would have then pts

They will still have to spend their time at a pound. Catch them and take them. Being pts is worse then them starving to death

That's the biggest reason im not getting another dog any time soon! Kaos is more then happy to sleep all day, as long as she can see me. Hasn't been for a real walk in months due to me hurting my ribs. No way I could have handled the last few months with a dog that needed to be taken out

Blue was the number one colour i would see in at work i remember talking to a lady who was looking for a Blue. We had a great chat about it and the cost (was going to cost her $2000) and she walked out saying she was going to visit a local breeder and stay away from anyone with blue. I then turned to the next customer, asked what sort of dog they had.. and they said a Blue SBT! Thought i was going to get killed after my chat with the customer in front of him :laugh: he told me i didnt know what i was talking about. I have a blue cat and love the colour, but i have only ever seen one Blue SBT that looks good and that was years and years ago.

I love the idea of it, but cant see it ever working i used to have a "please give me space" vest i used on Kaos, people would walk their dogs over and ask why she needed space... *sigh*

I agree I used to petsit a 14 year old Mal! His owners got transferred to Darwin. They rung me in tears asking what did i think they should do, of course i couldnt answer. They got back to me saying they were going to have him PTS. He was old and there was no way he would cope with the trip and the heat. He passed away the morning they were going to have him PTS. They were relieved they didnt have to go through with it, but i told them that had they done it, i 100% believed that they were doing the right thing. cant wait till im rich, my dream is to take in the oldies like this to live out their last few months/years.

But if it doesn't have fur in it it doesn't taste good??

I used a bonofido stay dry basket for Atlas - it was waterproof so nothing went through to the floor and each morning i would chuck the bedding (i took the mat out and just used old blankets) in the wash and hose/clean the bed. Saved a lot of mess

I've flown older dogs and cats with jet pets and 2 12 week old kittens - no issues and great service :)

Very easily. My dog isn't good with other dogs. She is 9 soon and we have never had an issue with her because I make sure she and other dogs are safe. I have no problems with dog aggressive dogs. I have problems with idiot owners who ignore the problem and do nothing to keep others safe. The issue here is the owner and if he can't step up then this dog should be taken off him. My niece got bitten on Sunday, nasty wound to the hand that's put her out of action for a while. The dog was destroyed We found out that she was the fourth or fifth child this dog had attacked. The owner knew it wasn't good with kids but instead of locking it up when she had visitors she let it run around. The Owner was very lucky the attack wasn't worse and that it was my niece and not one of the other kids (niece is very tough and a huge dog lover) These type of dogs should never get a second chance. Thing is I feel sorry for the dog. It's not their fault they have idiot owners but it is them that pay the price

Im not a fan of it. I wouldnt do it to start with because my dog is dog aggressive, all it would take is another dog in sight for her to start going crazy, i also wouldnt risk her being stolen. I hate other people doing it because (when im able to) i often walk my dog down town, if there are dogs on leads tied up i get worried, if they go off at my girl or their lead isnt tight enough who knows what would happen. There is an idiot in town who has a 6ft lead on his two dogs and ties them up all over the place, while they just find a spot and lay down... the spot is always on the other side of the path and people have to dodge them or step over leads.

On the news tonight You can test your dog and know exactly what they will be like when they are 10. $130 They tell you what breed then what issues those breeds have. Will see if I can find it online later, but it was Orange local news on prime.

Kaos will sleep in her bed in the loungeroom but sometimes sneaks onto the lounge when OH is at work (i dont mind her sleeping on there, but he does and she knows it!) If im sick or having a bad night she will sleep on the floor under my bed

I can easily see how it can happen. I now take the dog lead off the dog and sit it in my lap while driving, so when i get out i remember. Ive never done it, but has been close to it. I put her in the back and we go for a drive, as she settles down and sleeps and we drive for a few hours, i dont think about her again Heartbreaking for the person who was in charge of the dog.. you would never forgive yourself

I think it says they did dogs over cats as there was already research on it, so less work.

Oh kaos backchats, more to OH then me, it doesn't worry me but it annoys him :laugh: She also woowoos him when he comes home from work, he says it pisses him off but the other day she was snuggled with me in the lounge and didnt get up... He got a bit upset that she didnt say hello :laugh:

I was going to post nothing, but then i started thinking... first, i cant go to the toilet or shower on my own. She has to come in and sit next to me when im on the loo or lay on the bathmat when im in the shower - she only does this when OH isnt home. Stops... when you are walking at night, she just stops in front of you.. she is black, its dark... i dont know why she does it and i dont know how i havent broken a bone from falling over her When we have visitors she has to get a bucket and run around the yard like an idiot - she wont let anyone touch her or catch her. I do not know the point of this game? She slams into the fence because she cant see but gets up and keeps going. Im sure there are more, but thats all i can think off for now.

Exactly what I was thinking!! All it would take is someone walking around town chucking it over fences... Very scary
