I believe they do ask people why they are dumping their dogs, i tried to save a SBT a few years ago and they told me the owners filled out a form and a list of reasons the dog was dumped and she was not able to be rehomed Not sure what other answers are on the sheet though

how on earth do we get through to people? I work in the animal industry and see people who want to breed for profit all the time.

Kaos loves everyone, she is a nutter when anyone comes over and does not give a crap about me. A few months ago i was sick, migraine and sick as, i went to bed one night and woke about 30 hours later to mum asleep in the spare bed (i rung her a few times and she was worried - i cant even remember ringing her!) She said the whole time i was out of it, Kaos stayed with me, didnt get off the bed to see mum, showed no interest in her - only me. she has NEVER done that, so she must have known i was very ill and looked after me Atlas also spent all the time with me - but he always follows me, visitors or not!

Colour is funny, when i went to pick Atlas out the first thing i said was "oh, i dont want the ugly black one" Guess who i took home? Now to me the only colour for a Bull Terrier is Tri. I am not a huge fan of red Bull Terriers But saying all that, if the perfect dog came along I would not care what colour it was. Atlas was not my first pick at all, but i am so glad i took him and am totally in love with the colour As for SBTs, I am also not a huge red fan, but it wouldnt stop me owning one if the dog was what i wanted.

I haven't had a chance to post a thread like this in a while. On the local buy/swap/sell facebook page someone posted about Labs for sale, i asked if they had been hip scored. Of course not! Vet has checked the dogs over, and they are not papered. Another user posted this: ARGH!! I replied back, but there probably was no point at all, they wont listen. :mad

It would have been an Aussie... a family member got sucked into the craze... the girl we have has a percentage as well... i do have her 'papers' filed away at Mum and Dads house somewhere, if i remember i will drag them out and see what it says exactly

im lucky to remember the cats and kaos' birthdays. Atlas shares a birthday with my brothers but I never do anything with him (Atlas, not my brother!) christmas on the other hand....

Hi, this is Kaos here. Atlas loves his jammies! No shame here, honestly - who would mess with us? They may talk behind our backs but none of the other dogs would ever say it to our faces! If it's a store policy, there's nothing you can do and customers need to realise that rather than get pissy at the staff. When I worked at Disney, every single cup had to be accounted for. If it was ruined, it had to be kept to prove it was ruined. Your pay was docked if there were missing cups, because missing cups add up. Cups are a stocktake item, and stocktake items need to be accounted for. Even leftover popcorn was kept and weighed before being thrown out. After all, we can't account for the amount of syrup we use in a fountain drink, but we can account for the cups. yep, i have worked in jobs where everything was counted. You cant go breaking store policy just so someones dog can have a drink. And today kaos got to try fig and macadamia and cookies and cream and strawberry and Ferrero Rocher AND cherry ripe ice cream Mum, Dad, my niece and myself went to the Molong gelato factory and ordered way way way too much ice cream, so kaos got the left overs (its ok, we both went for a run tonight to work it off!)

Tell me about it! Mum drags me out of bed and pushes me outside every morning, I try to hide under the covers and stuff but she gets annoyed and tells me she is running late for work or something and makes me go out. Its not my fault she has to work every day! I have to say that I hate it more when mum puts her cold feet on my warm belly while in bed. I keep growling at her but she does not get the hint!
