  1. I am sure he will be ok The more important question is why do you still have Easter Eggs? Mine were all gone the same day i got them
  2. Thanks Ams - will try and get some more of the RC but if it doesnt pan out I will start researching large kibbles.....the things we do Was talking to the RC rep today, import problems look to be mostly fixed... but they are having trouble with the Giant breed foods. RC does a Rottie food.
  3. I never said i was going to PTS? And the whole idea of my post was just as you said, not blaming the dogs and i know many, many GSD who are not Dog aggressive Sorry, your post has lost me?
  4. I have a dog aggressive dog, if she ever attacked a dog, i would blame me - not her. My options: have her PTS or keep her and keep her and others safe. I am aware of her problems and it is my choice to keep her, so it is my job to keep her safe from other dogs. I know what she can and can not handle and will never put her in the position where she feels threatened by another dog. I dont believe the problems that are being talked about have anything to do with the dog, it is the OWNER. All of us who own dogs should know what they can and can not cope with and all of us should do everything we can to keep them safe. If i could not handle my girl I would have had her PTS, no questions asked. As should anyone who can not handle the problems that their dogs have. My boy can get a bit freaked out in crowds, if i am dumb enough to let him into that situation than how is that his fault? Sadly I can not see things changing anytime soon, people are becoming more and more scared of bull breeds and it breaks my heart and I really dont know what the answer is to fix it.
  5. No need to apologise, i havent needed to post because you are saying everything i agree with.
  6. I am happy to wait, i want mine all for Christmas presents.
  7. I have containers i got from Nestle years ago, they use them to store the dye in it (i think?) had a friend working there who got me a heap. Both dogs are on different foods, and then i have the cats in one as well. Never had problems with food going off in them
  8. Bull Terrier is mentioned in the news video on the orginal link at about 1:22 and onwards talking about "a 55 year old woman was attacked, AGAIN by a Bull Terrier" Thanks, the video wouldnt play, so i missed it. Seems no way to contact them. God i wish there was a way to keep idiots from owning dogs
  9. if my dog had health problems and on medication I would stay away from it I used benadryll once and it didnt really help, i just let it pass over the dog and take them to the vets if they show any infections.
  10. Sorry, i do not agree If i am out and i get threatened and my dog defends me, i would never sit by and allow them to be PTS, If someone hits my dog and they defend themselves, i would never allow them to be PTS. If i am walking my dogs on lead, doing the right think and some idiot allows their off lead dog to come near us and it ends up hurt I would never allow them to be PTS. All this just breaks my heart, i had 5 people in at work today who were upset by it, they own bull breeds and came over and talked to me about it, they asked what they can do to help. I told them the best thing they can do is train their dog and prove to the world that not all dogs are the same. Can anyone link me to where they are quoting "Bull Terrier"? I would like to see if there is a way to contact whoever is saying it.
  11. Wouldnt have been George! He only rolls in dead flys!!
  12. We all know she is going to keep him, so Congrats :D I have checked the photos out on FB as they come up, he is lovely!
  13. and for Bull Terriers, i am lucky if he just gets the cardboard... shit head will try to eat the whole roll of toilet paper if he gets a chance! He can get it off the hanger now!! I reckon those toilet paper adds teach them how to do that. this is a dog who has trouble doing anything, for almost 8 years he has slammed his head into the screen door EVEY time he has to go outside, has never understood that I have to open it first... and a dog who took months to learn to drop.. but wow, can he move when the bathroom door is left open! wish i used it as my complex skill for NDTF, would have been much easier!

  15. Ok, managed to get hold of the vet - was a fluke, they were actually shut but she was in there checking the animals so answered the phone. Told her everything that happened and she said that this long after the fit, they wont find too much info. that I can bring her in if i want to but all they can do is watch her and see if it happens again and she is happy for her to stay at home. She said she may have just choked on something and cut her air off, or it could be something worse. Brother is going around to check on her and i have let the neighbours know, they are always out in their yard and their kids often jump the fence to play with spook, so they are going to watch her all day. Just hope it was a once off and wont happen again
  16. I always knew it was a fine for it, but i rather my dogs have no collars at home and pay the fine if they get picked up over having them hang themselves via a collar.
  17. I am looking after mum and dads Aussie (i know) Bulldog, she is about 6ish years old, she has always had a bit of trouble breathing and we have to keep her cool in summer, but nothing else. I went around to feed her, she was standing up, fell on her side and was out of it, eyes glazed over - I tried to open her mouth to make sure nothing was caught and i couldnt get her jaws apart, she also urinated everywhere. I threw water on her and she snapped out of it. She got up and was fine, like nothing happened. I just want to know if i should rush her to the vet? I dont even know if they are open today, but can get in afterhours if need be. I cant bring her home as she isnt crate trained and will go nuts here, and kaos and her hate each other. Mum and Dad are back on Wednesday. Dads last Bulldog (British) used to have massive fits and in the end died during one, Mum is in a panic over Spook and I told her i would post here and see what others think. Thanks
  18. Done this before, but why not do it again! Atlas - At the time we had a Zeus and I wanted something to match, but also a strong sounding name. Kaos - Well, as I have said before... come and meet her and you will know why she was named that Cats: Bella - Vet asked me for a name (Was an RSPCA cat) and Bella was the first thing that came to my head! I would love to change it, but she is 10 this year so I wont do it to her! Fanta - Took me months to name her, I narrowed it down to Phantom, but wasnt happy with it, so got changed to Fanta Sumo - He is a British Shorthair... no other name would have suited him!
  19. my dogs have been kicked out! so sick of having to share with them! I do find that about 3am Atlas comes in cause it gets cold and will sometimes let him up in the bed, but kaos usually sleeps in her bed in the dining room (both have beds in my bedroom, but she rather out there) the cats are another story...
  20. *dont need another dog coat, I dont need another dog coat*\ Kaos already has a purple Kennel, a Pink Landa and a black/green fleece... I think i am covered for all weather...
  21. I will ask RD to come in and explain the details when she can
  22. Thanks, i might look into it. She isnt as sick as she has been before with it, but it is only day 2! hoping it does not get worse, Keeping her warm and still. Will go and see if i can find the tablets!
