Mine are not allowed to jump off now I have floorboards down, so I have banned them from getting on there at night now, in worried they will slip and hurt themselves

I agree Danois, When I go away i miss my pets, but I'm not stressed I can't be with them (only once I cut a Trip short and that was because kaos was not acting normal and mum and dad were really worried about her) Atlas does not care if I am here or not, kaos will get stressed after a few weeks, but I don't often go away for weeks. The cats are happy for however long as long as they get fed lol

If you can get the cat to me in orange I can take it for a few weeks. If everything goes ok I can do the whole 12 weeks but will have to see how they all get on together, 2 of my guys can be stressy cats

wow, a lot of people out there wanting to own a Bull Terrier! You all rock and you my dear have great taste in dogs! I have a SBT and a BT. These are my heart breeds and I always want to have them in my life, I think my next dog is going to be a DDB. We have a 6 month old puppy that comes into work every week and I just fall more and more in love with him every day!! I would also love to have a Frenchie I love Standard Poodles, but when i sit and think about them and what they are like, I dont believe they are a breed that would suit me, but i can still dream!!

I use it, normally just Interceptor as we dont have fleas, but being such a bad flea season this year i put them on the Sentinel for now never had a problem, never had worms or fleas!

My guys normally get on my bed, now I have floorboards they are now allowed in there ( worried they will hurt themselves jumping off) Now they have a stay dry basket with extra blankets, when it gets colder I will put a blanket over them to keep the warmth in, kaos has a coat for really cold nights, atlas copes better than her!!

I can't Walk mine together anymore. Atlas has sore feet and arthritis and walks slow and not as far as kaos can, so I do two walks. As a pet sitter I won't walk more than 2 dogs at one time.

i really need to check this up again here in Orange, last time i asked it was $300 + per dog Mine havent been vaccinated in 2 years. how far are you from Orange? ETA and just realised this is an old thread!

PERSONALLY i dont like human names for my pets, i like different names that no one else has. Bella is the only one i have with a human name, and I often think of changing it, but she has had it for 9 years now... so wont do that to her :D Growing up we had a Suzie and a Sasha, then and Bella are the only human names we have used on any of our pets! So far i have only heard of 2 other Sumos, 2 Fantas, 3 Atlas (All bull terriers!!) and a few Kaos (but they are usually boys) and about 10000000000000000 Bellas ;)

i have gone the other way - i no longer allow Atlas on my bed - I am laying floorboards this thursday, and there is no way i am allowing him to jump off the bed, his feet are bad and it was ok with carpet, but not the boards. I know he wont use stairs. So I have set up a bono fido stay dry basket with a nice pillow in it next to my bed, i can pat him during the night, i will move him to the other side of the room once he is used to being in there every night - so far so good i am also looking at getting a bigger kennel for outside, so i can put a tramp bed inside it, to keep him off the ground. I wish he wouldnt eat everything out there it makes it so hard to get a good bed for him

I wont do it because i want to enjoy my holiday, I dont want to stress about where we can and cant go, what the dogs are doing, where the dogs are, is it too hot to take the dogs out? too cold? what happens if they get out while in the middle of no where? They stay home where they are safe, I get to go away and not stress about them, much easier for all of us Atlas isnt good in the car anymore either, so he rather be at home!

Kaos is a licker, but not that bad! When i get out of the shower she tries to get to my legs And will sometimes sneak up on a guest not wearing shoes (ick)

Mine have their coats for winter (waterproof and not waterproof ones) as well as Kaos's PJS (wears them around the house, I try not to have the heater on in winter to save money), they also have their ANTI BSL shirts they wear from time to time when out in public. I have dressed them up a few times for Obedience Christmas Parties: the bulldogs and the cat

I get them as well, people come in and say they need worming/frontline for their Staffordshire bull terrier, i say ok, so between 15 - 20kgs? The owners usually look at me in shock, then tell me no, their SBT weighs 30 - 40kgs.... Im finding it harder and harder to keep my mouth shut!
