  1. I wonder if there is an error in the abbreviation or did the owner write tablespoon in full? I do hope they respond for YOUR sake.
  2. Friend is looking to have snoods for dogs that dislike getting their ears wet. I am ordering some for the head shaking Horrible Herbert. They work a treat for swimmers like our dogs. :)
  3. thought as much. You are so correct about the fine print on 'full export pedigrees'. Had an issue with a Vizsla being imported from Italy after leaving Hungary. The translator made an error with the names of grand sire & grand dam. Reversed names. Can not imagine what might happen when steps are being taken to get a dog recognised here.
  4. The Dog Registry of America does. But what standing would /could they have here?
  5. Just to enable a little.... that Camo EzyDog Flotation Vest is now a discontinued colour. Its price is reduced on the EzyDog site. Starts at $29.95 for small & upwards. :)
  6. Get out of here!!!! Fabulous video. Louie is full of style I have the Hurtta for the Horrible Herbert. He loves it. Better dressed than me. :D
  7. If the local retailers are too expensive for the Ruffwear, some USA sites have them. Even with shipping they can be less costly than a local purchase. Dont forget you can get socks too. :D
  8. Have you found with an older dog the noise of the dremel puts them off too? By older, I mean over one year. Daddy only ever managed one Vizsla's set of nails with a dremel. The others we trimmed weekly at home to minimise problems. Horrible Herbert ( 10 months) has talons that maim. It's a hard road to trim right at the moment.
  9. My favourite DOL dog. Great choice
  10. Vehs, have you thought about a pembroke corgi? A lot of people tend to own GSD and Pembrokes. In fact Ish has Pembrokes and GSD! They are very similar in terms of temperament and trainability. And loyalty. UK friend has them. :D
  11. There was a Blue Tic Coonhound in SA probably 15 years ago now. Not sure what happened with him. There is a breeder in Queensland. :)
  12. Once you see them beside each other, there are differences. :)
  13. I can not reserve Squuueeee just for puppies! Squuuuuuuuuueeeeeeeeeeeeee for these fine dogs too
  14. Great ratters!!!! Protect home and hearth as if they are a Rotti. Manipulate cattle/stock. Zoom from go to woah. Loyal, loving & devoted to family. They can be so silly & clownish, they even stop to say 'Did I do that, really????' Then bounce away again. I was in Eskilstuna Sweden some years ago. Went to an Dog Agility trial/obedience outing. This young Valhund had just started to compete. He jumped OVER the tunnel. AND crashed thro' the first jump. The stewards tried so hard not to laugh at him. Same dog eventually got his titles though. :)
  15. Yep, I nearly got out of the Melbourne Royal with one..... But I'm such an obedient spouse, I did not. Daddy would have had hysterics if I turned up without telling him of the arrival of a dog. Bad enough now trying to increase numbers.
  16. The dear wee sweet Huzzie. What is wonderful is she is getting AND enjoying love.
  17. I knew your wife is lovely. I have two chances of Daddy doing this. Both are no chance. Thank Dog for rubber gloves.
  18. Meh, more fussy Momma not wanting to touch offal or liver
  19. You should post that brilliant photo from the Herzhund Malinois page from 10th Sept. LOL.
