  2. Then no way in H does she go near my dogs.
  3. Hope the night went OK, coogie. Sending gentle cyberhugs & LOVE to you both. for the next couple of days, Issy will be off colour especially after surgery & being 'pushed around'... (((HUGS)))
  4. aw, puppy breath, aw..... The current puppy is a Mister Brown. He too liked the outer edges of the group. Susan said he would decamp from them & go off on adventures. early days yet, of course. LOL. :D
  5. awwwwwwww! Cyber smoochies & tummy tickles ( if Nova allows) xxxxxxxx To ALL her babies.
  6. first tabs on the BROWN collar!!!! I am so very fond of brown collar puppies. Will you look at their cuteness & blooming good HEALTH? Well Done, Nova.
  7. Clever clever CLEVER Nova & her lovely hooman, Allerzeit. 10 babies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Squuuuuuuuuueeeeeeeeeeee Much LOVE
  8. Giving the medication to an already affected dog can have dire consequences. For the sake of a blood test, it is better long term treatment. Heartworm is a horror to eradicate The End.
  9. What a great video!!!! Ivy knows what she wants and so pretty.
  10. Yes she is still on Chemo. They feel that it is slowing the tumours down and she tolerates it so well its not a issue. That's what we are doing a day at a time, heaps of photos and regular rump steak dinners but she is so full of energy its amazing that she has 3 tumours in her lungs but they are very small. A most important ingredient of all of this is LOVE. HUGS to you and your wife for having this in abundance. One beautiful gal is livng life to the fullest.
  11. Photos are most excellent for Mondayitis Thanks :D
  12. Luckily, there are several Vets within Australia that have the expertise to work with the Oncologists and you to give these treatments. Dr Anne Neville is simply wonderful. In NSW, there is also The Russell Lea Vet Clinic, in Sydney. I am aware of 3 different dogs which were treated by both Vets ( separately) and had great quality of life with the regime they were given. Robert McDowell's expertise is great as well. He is a caring and compassionate person. He helped a friend whose cat had mammary cancer. Like anything, coogie, you can do your homework & find who you can relate to best for the treatment of your girl. Sending love & healing vibes
  13. Excellent to hear. Amazing how different foods affect their tummies. Horrible Herbert does not go well with Black Hawk. House has to be evacuated after he eats it. Tried to transition him but not to be. Pleased for Murphy and you.
  14. Years of working in emergency centres gave me a strongly developed gut feeling. My mentor told me to always pay attention to that. Hackles on my back raise even now. When they have the total lack of understanding and empathy like you mention, LG, it takes a strong will to not give them a taste of their own medicine. I could never grown long nails in those days. Tended to chew them off.
  15. We will know for sure by Christmas. Season is due. But we know what happens or does not. :)
  16. Sorry about the belated reply. Would appear now it's incontinence in bed & wetting outside of it. Considering he is one month short of 15 years, I will be adding just everything to keep him comfortable. I so appreciate all suggestions. To make ya'll smile, Tibor did a mini Vizsla zoomie the other day..... he managed to track down a wee piece of dried liver just by smell.. :)
  17. Sounds like there's a great blend of activities coupled with LOVE... So thrilled to read this.
  18. Squuuuuuuueeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! counting down too
  19. I wonder if you could share the secret of no destruction. Horrible Herbert added a new trophy earlier. A brand new just delivered DVD.... Daddy left it on the shelf. The Horrible One retrieved it and ate it all up. Majority of the time everything is secured. But the times things are not are his best scores.
