  1. My cynical mind wonders if it's one & the same breeder
  2. Sad that opinions are so diverse when there is a common ground of a dog's welfare.
  3. HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY to a darling Puppy!!!! Hope your birthday is special like you :birthday: Hugs to both of you
  4. Try looking in Aisle 23. ( according to Bunnings all stores have the same layout). They are usually stored flat amongst the other gear. The compost cages nowdays are now 'bare' in colour. Zinc-coated is the term, I think. :)

  6. I even went off Chianti after that
  7. Would you dare ever tell your short-hair Wei this?
  8. My heart just LEAPED!!!!! This was the fav' coat of my darling heart boy, Gabor. He wore it for 8 years. )Autumn/winters of course) I have such a GREAT grin to see how beautiful Didi looks in her ensemble.
  9. My standard fav is Weatherbeeta. (sp?) Been looking over coats. Have at least 8 of them, all different sizes & ages. Been worn many times and still OK. Someone here had a link for specials on them too. I'll try to find the link.
  10. On looks alone, he wins!!!! Well done, Hudson! Very well done
  11. me too. So did I!!!! Great movie
  12. Used give one of the Vizslas horrendous, room clearing flatulence. Even the dog wanted to leave its own skin. Not the best green thumb but I enclose all my gardens as a security measure.
  13. Lucky you, Dame Aussie!!!!! Two very beautiful darlings to share your life
  14. Yes this is my memory of ours too!! Weis are as good as their lines and how much TLC they get from their humans. Same applies to other breeds. Have friends with Weis and their dogs are super. Mind, I do love to tease them that the Vizsla is the ancestor of a Wei. Makes for great conversations. Memories of our childhood dogs are so special.
  15. Ain't that the truth. It is and will always be a continuous learning curve from one dog to another to another ...... That's what makes it fun or challenging :). I agree with both of you. Great thread too. So happy for the ongoing success for Mandela with his eating habits. Must remember to look at Coconut oil myself.
  16. It's the bottom line of being loved by a dog is it not? They always sense how we feel and give comfort. Happy Birthday Lili, lottsa love
  17. What a stunning find and beautiful photos!!!! Thank you for sharing.
  18. That's so touching. Cousin in the USA had his service dog come home to him. We have had some extraordinary Australia Dogs of War too. Proper and true heroes. Extract..... Still, certain breeds generally do better than others on the battlefield, such as German shepherds, Labrador retrievers, and especially the Belgian Malinois, which is known for being fearless, driven, and able to handle the heat.
  19. What a fine chap! The photos are beautiful, totally gorgeous. R.I.P. dear Chester
  20. Get the adult version of the breed. And hope no damage is happening because of dietary shortcomings.
  21. Would concur with condensation, when I pick the dog beds up off our slate floors they are damp underneath. Had this happen when I used a particular type of dog bed. I would over react and look for 'accidents'. Turned out to be related to the dog's thyroid problems. No more hassles because he is on medication.
  22. That's a good one. I also use the home brand Vicks Vapour rub. (And a dog gate for that professional counter surfer )
