Before going to the radical step of a biopsy, maybe also consider getting a full thyroid panel done. There may be issues there. Rather than go on, please conside looking at posts by Erny. They have documented on here what steps they took with their dog that had issues. http://www.dolforums.com.au/user/5887-erny/ With luck, Erny will see the thread & help too. There's a chance of immune issues that correct diagnosis should help. Hugs to Veli and I hope he recovers quickly. ETA Erny has already been suggested :)

It was tongue in cheek. A dog going to any home with two preschoolers would need careful consideration. The venture would require a lot of research. ETA: the adults would be foremost in any choice for me. They will be the ones needing to be responsible for everything

Although I had a bit of a moan about the late night toilet trips, they are part of the journey. What I am totally loving nowadays is having Horrible Herbert come on recall. He is out to 50 metres now. I swear as he runs back to me, his smile gets bigger. All the older Vizslak were the same. Mommas smiles so much at that. Yep, DiscoDobe, they are fun indeed.

Yep, and the nightime toilet trips. I like my sleep :) This!! Just the longest time out in the back yard in the middle of the night 'waiting' for that poop. Sometimes we come in a tad too soon. Ah well, tissues work OK.
