This ^^ I find it fairly easy to deal with. About 14 years ago we had the last lot of both dogs & bitches being together when all were entire. We used to be very vigilant as written. Once and once only was there a 40 minute period where there was no human on duty. Sighs. To this day I still recall the horror of the near $1000 dollars of damage to that bathroom door. Sam, the FATHER of the bitch in season, barrelled thro' the door. Mated with her & then hide. A less than intelligent family member said at the time oh I never thought a father would touch his daughter. Can not educate mugs. My current boy, now aged 14, has never misbehaved near a female. I make a great effort to never compromise the dogs.

It's like having a human baby that is full of colic and not settling correctly. As the human/carer it becomes difficult to maintain the effort. Likewise, when we are hoping beyond hope to help a dog yet hit brick walls. I think you are going on the right track. Both of you need guidance!!! And your seeking that shows you are truly trying to be leader. Small steps ahead. Be kind to yourself first & foremost.

she might not be able to feed them though. If they've become dehydrated they wont even try to suckle, they'll just weaken and die, that is what nearly happend to my puppies. She needs to get fluids into them and also work out why they've got the runs and treat it otherwise they will die. I totally agree. Unfortunately all I can do is pass on the information and advise and hope they take it. I figure that if there is one that has an infection and this was what caused the bleeding then IMO there is a fair bet that there is/will be a problem with the others or some of them at least. The pups are suckling so that at least is a positive. Have emphasised that they should go to the Vet or at least ring the Vet would be a start. Maybe ask for a Vet to come to the house because of the perils of transporting newbies? So sad to hear.

Little worries Westfield except the dollar. If the company can fine their shop holders for closing premises while taking a bathroom break, little would matter about an injured pup within their centre.
