  1. I'm even thinking merely using their contact form :) you never know your luck but hopefully someone here knows someone
  2. Geeze lucky you they're a double coated breed who normally shed by the bucket load and once again they're a working dog.. Just my 2 cents they are lovely dogs though
  3. +1 they are smallish dogs but they don't shed, great personalilites, intelligent and tbh don't require that much grooming you can give them a brush twice a week and a clip or trim every now and again depending on how long you like their coat. I have 2 of these guys and after owning so many other breeds can't believe how I've managed to live without them.. Deff big dogs in small packages!
  4. I'm wondering if you got the media involved like today tonight or a current affair, would potentially inform others of puppy farming and possibly gain some more recognition and publicity for the rescue..
  5. If you download the Ankc agility rule book it has our Equipment specs in it :) I make alot of mine using PVC as long as it does the job things like jumps can be any design
  6. I know Peter he trains with CFS hahaha his boy and Ella are from similar lines :) I don't think hes titled as such but will have a chat next time we catch up :) I've known him since he had his cresties at ADC.. Ive set myself a goal, I've found a breed that fits me to a tee well atleast Ella does so I'm keen to achieve as much as I can with her but so I have it accurate for the end of year when we place her Ad in the dog news annual I wanted to see what other titles and achievements the breed has made. My aim is to do ET with her next year when she's old enough as she turns 2 next month, there may be little ellas late next yr or early 2014 depends on how we all go lol!!
  7. Is there anyway for me to nationally find out who has the most titles as far as a breed goes?? I have my lowchen girl here who does agility and I wanted to find if anyone has got a lowchen registered with agility titles, talking to all the lowchen people we know and no one thinks there is one but I'd like to try and find out. I know there is one with their CDX title but that's about it .. So is there a way for me to find out? It's only a small breed number so surely it's gotta be easier then say a border collie :p
  8. 2nd this :) having lived with one for the last 6 months now I'm in love will never go to anything else, I have competed this girl in agility with much success but she's very happy to just be a lazy lapdog ATM she's under my covers and snoring along with OH, eats anything, loves doing what I'm doing or just chills in her crate :) pure delight.. I find our girl prefers to be with us but will hang out in the yard with the other kids if need be, her best friend for a while was my bc when he was with us! Best toy breed ever, big dogs in small packages
  9. The AWL I know has a habit of if they have " rarer" rescues come in that may attract more attention like a while ago they had a few spaniels and poodles and they charged more for them and the statement they made under the cost was "because I am a special dog my fee is xxx to help out some of my other shelter friends" I think it's a reasonable concept it helps out the other dogs in the shelter and as well as that people who are truly committed to this dog cost wouldn't be an option.. If it helps them recoup the cost why not they bearly meet the cost they put in as is
  10. Jock my Sheltie didnt start until I got him at nearly 6.. he was still running and winning classes at 11.5 yrs so anything is possible =) good luck
  11. Delta we took amber the lakie baby in with one training day under her belt and she passed her EIC no sweat alot of it is instinctual but a dog who's able to work in small places is an advantage! Next time OH and I are at an agility comp have a chat with him as that's his sport lol!! Hoping to get her Novice underway before end of the year
  12. I have a Savic and it's fantastic it's near impossible for me to actually undo it to put away lol it takes. Me and OH and that's for a midget crate. They're really strong and sturdy need had an issue with it unclipling or anything.
  13. Well we achieved some of those titles last year and achieves a few extra ones along the way :) so its 2012 lets see how we go! Denver JDM TITLE - 1 Q to go!!! JDO Title - 3 Qs to go :) ADM Q!!! - we are struggling to make the courses it would be a miracle to make a Q for us continue to have fun, push it to achieve what I know we can but keep it fun attend obedience lessons so we may be able to do trialling eventually.. doubtful lol Dens just TOO happy and nervy and bouncy all at once LOL Ella Become trial ready and enter a trial enjoy agility have fun :) we are making such progress and I wanna see that continue Me [*]get myself handling better then last year, something has clicked in with me and Den and Im happy with my handling but I would like it to step up a bit more [*] get James trained so he can run Den or even his own dog (Ella) in a comp lmao wishful thinking, I need to gain patience for this [*] STOP BABYING DEN IN THE RING!!! my one downfall I play it safe with him so much and I know he can give me better.. I let him down Well thats it for me! lets see how we go :) Well we can cross Den off the list completely as he has retired and gone back to mums I miss him but he's having a great time from what I hear running round with their pup on endless space. Ella well I achieved both goals we entered a trial and the nationals and better yet got our first q!! So to revise the Ella goals and add amber in Ella *to continue agility and making progress in connecting our obsticles together confidently * WEAVES - fix them lol we kinda have them kinda don't but we're getting there * START LINE STAY - get one cos we don't have one and it's what lets us down cos someone is too quick for me lol!! AMBER *continue to work on our obedience so she can be the first rally-o Lakeland terrier lol.. We have a mean heal at 7 months old so now to connect it with the other skills *continue earth dogging and our que of "where's the bunny"
  14. Best place to go would be the Dogzonline puppy listings as the litters will be listed there. I guess it'll deepened on the indivual breeder as to who and how they sell their pups
  15. The two runs I saw they DQed I know her young dog Gem won AD400 and JD400 :) great runs to watch
  16. Yay to the little dinosaur!! :) glad you guys got something for all your travel :) Den and his partner Jaxon the Cocker got 3rd nationally in 400 strategic pairs :) Ella has surprised me heaps and she got her first Q in novice snooker 300 and placed 4th nationally :) she has come along in leaps and bounds and I'm so proud!! Never had a dog do happy zoomies round the ring like her lol!!! Looking forward to heats again tomorrow but not about going home
