  1. Are some of the dogs being sold ? I have a genuine reason for this query.
  2. Sending positive, healing thoughts to Ollie.........
  3. Greyhounds and whippets don't get that doggy smell.
  4. Sending 'whippety get well cuddles' to Puck .............
  5. Hi sherel Any chance that black hawk will release a weight management range with lower fat anytime soon? That would be great , then I could use if for my grey who has pancreatitus, she loves to sneak the whippets BH, can you keep me informed too please.
  6. I fed my greyhound a little of the roo Dr. B barf with her pancreatitus diet food, I probably only used 1 pattie over 2 days, but I find that the Big Dog patties become very smelly even from morning to the evening feeds, it definitely does not keep as well. I have to chuck it out. So I will try to source the Dr B patties somewhere here in SA. I can only feed her a little of the roo as she has kidney problems as well, so I need to keep the protein down, and just a little of the roo pattie negates the boredom of the diet food.
  7. Oh that is just a beautiful photo................I am so glad your Mum is home with you again.
  8. I have Wahls and Andis, and a couple of pair of Osters which must be 30 years old, and still going strong as long as they are maintained.
  9. I have to say that having read this ladys posts in the past, I am not surprised at her reaction. I think it is made even worse because of her own illness, she was very dependant on this dog, she made her sound as though she was an 'assistance' dog. I admit to being worried about how she was going to react when I read of the dogs illness and deterioration. It is very sad, I haven't posted either, I just don't know what to say to her. Hopefully with time she will remember the good times and that will help her with her grieving. This is all very raw for me too, as I lost my heart dog in September.
  10. Me too..................you have to be sooooo careful.
  11. After a hip replacement, and a bite on the leg your Dad MUST see a Dr.
  12. Not yet - still got about 3 or 4kg of my other food left. How much did it cost getting it through the Angaston people? It was $90 for the 20kg bag, pretty good compared to EP. Both my whippets are very happy with it, the male was always a fusspot, but he is cleaning up all the BH. My grey has had pancreatitus so the fat content is too high for her, but she has gobbled up some that I dropped on the floor, so she would be happy to eat it too, if she could.,
  13. That's great. I am glad you found a way to get it relatively easily Thanks, have you got yours yet?
  14. I picked mine up yesterday, I have a cousin who lives near the daughter of the people from Angaston, so they dropped it off at her place for me, and I picked it up from there, great service. Trish
  15. Have they done bloods and tested for pancreatitus, sounds like that to me. Poor little man, I hope you have some success with the new vet.
  16. Woohoo it has hit Adelaide....................
  17. I have just sent mine off, the PO guy knew all about it, so no hassles there. Trish
  18. It was some years ago, maybe 4, it wasn't available here for a long time, but when I tried the new formula I was not impressed, it was nowhere near as effective as the original.
  19. Yep, I can see it too...........................
  20. I gave it to my whippets, and their coats were great, they shed less, which was the big bonus. Then AQIS stopped it being imported into Australia because of one ingredient, it has since been allowed in again, but that one ingredient is not in it any more. And of course I think it was that ingredient that was helping coats so much, because I have not had the same results from the new batch. There is no difference in the shedding at all.
  21. Poor Penny, I hope she is feeling better, didn't she have a problem with her neck before, when you pulled her away from an attacking dog...................or am I dreaming again Hugs to her anyway, Trish
