Golden Memories

They say memories are golden, well, maybe that is true.

We never wanted memories, We only wanted you.

A million times I cried.

If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died.

In life We loved you dearly, in death We love you still.

In our heart you hold a place no one else could fill.

If tears could build a stairway and heartache make a lane.

I'd walk the path to Heaven and bring you back again.

Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same.

But as God calls us back one by one, the chain will link again.

authour unknown.

Goodbye Mahli.

Much love

Your human family & Busta

I'm devastated to hear this news :(

I have often thought of you, your family and gorgeous Mahli and hoped against hope that you would find her safe and sound.

My thoughts are with you at Mahli's sensless loss and hope you find peace being able to bring your baby girl home forever.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. You and your family take care.

Mahli knows how desperately you tried to find her and she will love you always.

RIP stunning Mahli. Many hearts are breaking for you today. :o

Thank you so much for the lovely poem. I cry perhaps I heal.

Sometimes I feel people do not understand what a loss a beloved pet is. We lost our wonderful red & white border 'Josh' on March 3rd, 2009 . He was only 22months he was suppose to be with us for at less 12years- life it not fair. I thought that a few weeks would deminish the pain but oh so how wrong was I. We cannot sleep, eat and even enjoy our life without thinking of him. When will the hurt go away.

I avoid normal contact with people because they may ask where he is. How can I answer them without tears.

How do people deal with the loss????
