Congratulations Mirawee! Aww I'm sad I missed it

Wow, I went on the Dogswest website this morning to print the title application form and it was the same old website.

Went back this afternoon as I forgot to write down the fee and it was pretty and new! http://dogswest.com/dogswest/Home.htm

There are now schedules online too

Woooohoooo my dream come true!

Noice! The site is a vast improvement! Though I can't understand why they still haven't got the transfer to associate gundog register form online yet!

I've decided that I don't tend to study on Tuesday nights after being at Uni on a Tuesday so may as well do some training. I've re-enrolled Pippa into the Puppy 2 classes at ACWA :) I see RallyValley's name is on the list for that class, so hopefully see you there! thumbsup1.gif

I have been moping around feeling sorry for myself as I have decided to scratch Rosie from agility classes :-( . So someone would have been happy to have gotten my spot!

ah well, will see how she is in term 3.

On the plus side, tuesday evening will be a lot less full on, as agility usually follows closely on the heels of kids swimming lessons.

Sorry to hear that, RosieFT :( Is she still limping a bit? How is she?

I probably should have put Millie back in classes, but eh, I'll just focus on her on Thursday nights when I can make it out to training, and give Pippa a chance to come up through the classes. Probably won't do much agility with Ruby anymore. Shame cos she could probably get her ADX. Masters is another story and I'm not that worried about it. Might just put her in the occasional trial, but I'm not overly concerned. Something tells me she enjoys this retrieving thing, though laugh.gif Which is lovely to see!

I think it is better to do what they enjoy. The retrieving sounds like fun, and kind of what they were designed for :)

Yeah, still limps on and off with her front leg. OH says, 'she's fine!' but i disagree. It comes and goes and as long as it does, I don't think it is fair or wise to put more stress on it. However, i think what she does in everyday life is more taxing, why add to it? She could probably do jumping, but not agility. We will see. Deb seemed to think it was not pain but a physical resistance, but still.

Anyhoo, hopefully not an end of an era, was fun . That is what i am torn with though, I did it 50% for her and 50% for me. She really did love getting out and seeing all the dogs and racing around the course.

Rosie would lurve to retrieve ducks - just the live ones LOL.

We went into the hills last weekend and OH took us to his old haunts from his childhood in roleystone and took us to roley pool. Wow, Rosie had SUCH a good time in the bush and in the water. The kids had a blast too. OH showed them how to catch mussels with a piece of grass and he caught them a little yabbie to look at. Rosie found some ducks to swim after...... but since i was able to be waiting for her when she came ou the water on the OTHER side.. she was a lot better and calling off them the next time. She was soooo sheepish getting out the water iwth me standing there.... LOL

Sorry to hear about Rosie RosieFT. I keep asking myself the same with Kenz - what should I let her do and when should I call it a day. Problem is I think she would run herself in to the ground regardless of how sore she is or isn't.

Just not sure what the answer is at this stage :(.

Thanks Ness, I think ultimately I was just sick and tired of trying to figure it all out and work out what was a training issue/vs physical issue eg. the weave poles and the lack of weaving after she had learnt to weave 12.

When I rode horses THE worst thing was that mild lameness that had you doubting and second guessing yourself and your horse whenever you got in the saddle. Not knowing how hard to train, how hard to push when things weren't *quite* right. Didn't think I would have the same problem with a dog LOL.

Anyhoo, like I say, I think she could cope with the jumping just now the weaves and A frame because of the stressors on the legs. So maybe next term I will be back.

I hope you can sort out your dog Ness, I know how frustrating it all is!

Yep I know all about the doubting business - its constantly on my mind when I train her. Ah well back to the specialist this week and will see what the latest verdict is. He hasn't had hands on her in nearly 2 months I am just hoping the situation is a little more favorable then the one the chiro vet is painting.
