Gilbert At The Vet : (

I cannot believe how quickly things can change. One minute the best Jack Russell in the world was running and playing- 5 minutes later he is throwing up, foaming at the mouth, staggering around like he's drunk and another minute later he loses control of his bowels, collapses on the vet table with white gums.

Anaphalactic shock to a bite of some kind.. Vet will call in a few hours to let us know how he is going- he is on fluids and had some injections. Apparently these reactions get worse every time they have them- do they have epi pens for dogs?

Oh no! Lucy (and Fergs) send their love and kisses. I don't know about the epipen - maybe ask the vet? It sounds like a good idea, you just might have to adjust the dose. Also ask about cortisone, and whether you'd be able to get injections for that (because the tablets take too long to be effective in an emergency)
