k9angel Posted February 6, 2013 Share Posted February 6, 2013 (edited) Yesterday we went out to Renbury to pick up our latest rescues, all 5 of them! There were 10 all up. Another rescue put their name on the first 5 so Rach put our name on the remainding 5. :) They were listed as shep x and are only 6 wks old. They are so sweet. We have 4 boys and a little girl and we have named them Tori, Teddy, Toby, Tango and Tiger. :) (Jack helped pick their names). You should of seen the look on his face when he got in from school yesterday and saw them for the first time! He adores them and they adore him. He carries them around and talks to them. They think the world of him. Bailey loves them too and vice versa. :) Tori is dark brindle/sable in colour. She is very submissive and so so sweet. Marion01 pointed out that they look like they could have some whippet in them. On certain angles Tori, Tiger and Tango do remind me of little whippets/greyhounds so it'll be interesting to see how they turn out as they grow. Teddy looks more sheppish. He is a darker sable colour and has a longer coat and thicker tail too. He has a very soft nature and is such a laid back cuddle bum. Tango is fawn in colour with blue through his coat. He is also very sweet and has a thing for squeaky toys! :laugh: Toby is sable in colour. He also has a very soft, gentle and submissive nature. Then there is Tiger. Tiger is a fawn/blue brindle colour and is very sweet too. They all are. They've settled in really well so far and seem to be very happy. :) I also want to say a huge thankyou to Rach @ Renbury too, for all her help yesterday. Their pound pics. k9angel Posted February 7, 2013 Author Share Posted February 7, 2013 I forgot to mention that I weighed them the first night we bought them home. They weighed: Tori > 1726g Teddy > 1576g Tango > 2047g Tiger > 2050g Toby > 1755g. I was so happy last night when one of them done a hard poo! They were pretty loose prior to that. Rach said they were like water on Saturday after they'd been wormed. Then this morning after they had their brekky and done their business, all 5 did normal, healthy looking poo's. They already know to go to the toilet on the newspaper too. They started doing that yesterday. They're very clever. It's nap time atm.
