He's gorgeous. How's he settling in?

I noticed on his rosette they are actually called mini foxies as a breed, not miniature fox terriers. I always assumed the term mini foxie was just the shortened informal name for them, like Iggies for Italian greyhounds.

He is a very settled puppy. He has a day bed in the lounge room where he is happy to chill out in when we are inside. Toilet training is going okay but it was hard when it was continually raining, he went on the deck but that's alright. He uses the puppy pads inside. I am hoping he will get better in the car. Not a great traveler.

Yes, the club is the Mini Foxie Club.

He weighs 1.7kg.

FAQ:"What are the differences between the Miniature Fox Terrier and the Tenterfield Terrier?" There are clear differences in the breed standards of the two breeds and an individual dog cannot match to both of these breed standards.

The principal differences are in the shape of the feet (a difference which can affect the function of the dog) and in the colours that are allowed in each of these breeds, both in the coat markings and the nose.
