Keeshonds And thank you, I agree :D

We have a Pupkus and Ezycoats at work. I'd go the Pupkus, I prefer that the heat and speed settings are adjustable, where as the Ezycoats are just high or low. Can you buy Pupkus without an ABN though? I was looking at their website a while back and I thought they were wholesale only??

Yep I agree with everyone else, that list is uber scary! I do not mind answering copious questions, but some of them are so, well, open......Why do you breed? What else would someone say but to better the breed? I doubt anyone is going to admit to breeding for profit, or breeding because they love puppy breath? Try again, grovel a little, I am sure you can repair the relationship despite its "newness"

I've gone and groomed dogs in there.

While its a long time, I think I'd be doing a happy dance if my puppy didnt pee inside! Can someone come home at lunch time and let him out?

Nope not too anal at all. After my vet of very many years passed away, I have yet to replace him. I have been in vet limbo for coming close to 10 years now. I go between three different vets, I even work next door to a vet and I have yet to use them. (I recently asked for a price on puppy vaccs and nearly choked on my lunch!) I am still not happy with any of them particularly, but I go to the one I think will suit my needs at the time.

Yep Boris needs 25 pts after he turns 1. My baby boy Hamish was Minor in Group today at Manly

I would suggest there are only a small handful of actual professional handlers who get paid in Australia.

Yes I always have trouble with the pairs who live together. If I left things to just happen, well we'd never have puppies. I'd be lost without my stud master!

No good vet can diagnose idiopathic epilepsy without a long list of tests coming back negative and even then the only way to diagnose it is via necropsy. There are SOOO many things that can cause seizures. Good luck Yoshi!

Clipping A Double Coated Breed
Rysup replied to aussielover's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I had to clip down a long coated GSD for the vets a few weeks ago, it had two ticks. I would not recommend doing it, but I would do it if asked. There is a great chance it wont grow back normally though. -
Their ears will be all over the place when they are teething. You can tape the ears if it worrys you. They may or may not go back to normal.

6 Keeshonds, 2 Lhasa Apsos & 2 American Staffordshire Terriers at present.

My Trickey Trailer is 13 years old and due for a facelift, but its been a good trailer to have.

Depends on a few variables, such as how long they are travelling. However I collected two puppies from different litters (same breeder) that came in the one crate together. They were about 5 months old at the time.

I sounds a lot like a seizure to me too. The rigid legs, the loss of bladder control....

You might lease a bitch to have a litter with. Or a dog to show for a few years. Once the lease expires, the dog or bitch goes back to the original owner. What you agree to with the owner, is between you and them. There may or may not be a fee, or a return puppy. Just make sure you get it all in writing, so both parties know the rules.

The link has gone off the lottobreakers website, where it used to reside. I went to send the link to a friend and it was gone.

I would not be letting the person enter the property. Let them prove the dog is theirs. By the sounds it will be all too hard and they will let it go.

My Daisy had a singleton who died after 12 hours of trying to survive. She was distraught beyond words, and I thought leaving her in the house would be best, but in the end, it was much better to pack it all up and get back to normal as soon as possible.

Can You Mix Two Dry Foods Together?
Rysup replied to puppies&poppies's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I agree with Rebanne. My two show dogs are fed Nutro (one due to allergies), but the retired dogs are all doing great on Coprice. And the two who get Nutro would LOVE to get Coprice (and vice versa mind you!) -
Terrier Grooming | Hand Stripping

Sooz Groom Room at Dural does hand stripping. -
No Invevitablue, there are no number restrictions in NSW and has not been for a very long time. Your council might try and tell you there is, but there is not.

So Much For Going To The Royal Melbourne Show!
Rysup replied to Andisa's topic in General Dog Discussion
Wow I would be absolutely fuming! I'd probably just have parked in the drop off area and left a big note on the windscreen saying "No where else to park, will move it when the parking opens" or something like that. What a bad joke! -
I guess its a big matter of opinion too. I saw some photos posted on Facebook the other day and everyone was jumping up and down and saying how disgusting these "whelping kennels" were. Yet I saw clean, concrete runs. Sure the dogs didnt have soft beds, or toys, or cushy laps, but they were clean, had food and water, and the ones with puppies had pig lamps. Not ideal, and I'd never whelp a litter in a kennel environment, but still, they were clean and appeared well looked after. So who decides? Not every litter gets born and raised beside the bed. To please the masses, they would have to outlaw kennels having litters out of the house?
