You so realise that she assaulted a police officer? Just because you are a female doesn't mean that you can act like that and expect no consequences.

Yarra Glen Craft Market. They might go to other craft markets - Red Hill, Mornington, Flemington etc

I just got some really nice beds from a market. They are made by a furniture manufacturer. I got soft fill but they also do foam. or soft fill and foam. They have a zip. The top is water resistant. And they cost $50! I got 2 so got a discount. The foam one is $70 for large. http://furnituremakers.net.au/ Bit of a dodgy photo but here is Amber modelling hers

Thanks everyone :)

I would look the same age as that lady but am a crazy, menopausal old bag  I would possibly go bat-shit crazy on say the electricity company if they had blocked my way. Luckily in the past they have noticed the feral slightly crazed look in my eyes and found a way for me to get past... Police I would restrain myself or maybe just cry.

Classic remark from someone on a FB page - "I'm pretty sure Australia can replace her with 2 decent refugees."

We are talking about water added to food. Not ALL water. You seem quite happy to give out all sorts of diet advice and are giving me grief about it?
-
Thanks Xyz :) She is lots improved but still not 100%. Still being fussy about what she eats. Only ate a few bits of kibble this morning. Tinned food with baby food on top was received better!

Umm the idea is to reduce minerals for dogs that are having urinary problems.
-
You might want to look at using distilled water if your dog is having urinary issues. Some minerals in tap water can cause issues with stone formation etc

Glad you enjoyed Kepala Thistle the dog. I must get over there one day. I went to a local garden today after discovering they allow dogs. I've been before and always thought it would be nice to take the dogs. We had a nice walk around, were the only people there! And a devonshire tea after! The resident dog did bark at us when we got there but they quickly put him away. -
A Dyson

She has drank some of her kids drink (Pediasure) this afternoon so I am less stressed about food now. I used the drink when she was first diagnosed and it is great for getting nutrients into them but not overtaxing the liver. I'm going to put her on a higher does of her antibiotic too and hopefully that will help. I've been to gym and feeling less tense! And I went shopping, lol.

She has been pretty good until yesterday. When your dog is laying on the floor shaking, you kind of freak out a bit. it could have even been a neurological thing from build up of toxins. She also really doesn't have any fat reserves so 1 day missed food isn't good. She is looking brighter now. I am exhausted. lol

I Have To Face Up To It. My Dulcie Is Dying

Hugs to you and Dulcie. -
We went for a walk, she chased some magpies! And she just asked for food and ate a little bit of tinned food straight out of her bowl :) This is one tough dog.
-
Poppy helped get some more food into her. A spoon for Poppy and then a spoon for Amber! Funny how another dog eating something makes the food so much more tasty.

We are 4 years past the 6 months she was given to live though. The vet last night said he hadn't seen a dog this old with shunts.
-
She had a cookie last night but is still not wanting to eat this morning. She is drinking.
-
The vet didn't know if this is just a blip or this is the end. My normal vets haven't mentioned that she looks jaundiced before, unless they just haven't told me. She has had a anti-nausea injection and is resting easier now. Need to decide if I'll get bloods done tomorrow. I can't really see the point. Hopefully she feel better tomorrow, she was running around like a crazy thing at the river on Saturday.
-
Took her to an emergency vet. She is jaundiced.

Amber is not wanting to eat I hand fed her a tiny amount of tinned this morning and she licked a bit of yogurt tonight. She has been going pretty well apart from an ear infection a couple of weeks ago. She developed a contact allergy rash over the weekend and is very unhappy. The rash seems to be improving, she has a little bit on her muzzle and maybe that is making her not want to eat. But she also had a rash when she was really sick and first diagnosed. She seems to have lost weight too. Today has been the first day she will not eat though. She is also 6 weeks past her season so don't know it that is also effecting her. Little bit freaked out.

Exercising Reactive Dogs Thread

One of my fav display gardens mentioned that they allow dogs on their FB page yesterday. I've been to the gardens a couple of times and have never seen dogs. This is a private, pay to enter type place. Would certainly be a very civilised place for an on-lead walk. There are a couple of other places a round here that you wouldn't think to take dogs but you can (other gardens). So maybe check out local touristy places near you and see if dogs are allowed. -
I didn't apologise for anything. I remember the discussion and my memory tells me the owner of BH said that their food had always been called BH. The other food was someone elses even when you insisted otherwise. The thread that I posted has owner of BH saying that it isn't branded. Which is why I posted it. I insisted that it was made in a certain place and the owner insisted it wasn't. Funnily the place I said it was made now lists it on their site as BH. Don't worry Jules, we all know they were one in the same. Thanks. This all seriously made me think I was going crazy! Like I was in that film Gaslight.
