T - something like that ...and more getting-my-dinner-out-of-bottles, cleaning-out-of-peanut butter jars , and chewing-of-apples&sweet potatoes ;) -
That's true n'all :) Indeed :)

can't really see it - but dogs do get follicular /glandular cysts and things which often resolve all by themselves :)

Unfortunately - it seems he has done some not -too-serious damage to a radial nerve - and is on some mixes from McDowells & some physio from me under direction from Mcdowells .. and is not to be a loon for a while - well not excessively , anyway ;) What it means is more "calm" training ....and play-with- owner-training - and much less -run-with-the-pack idiocy ......he doesn't mind ;) -

Type Of Halti Recommendation

excellent post , staff& toller , even tho originally I did think a tie-up time out was odd - but if one has no crate etc - and dog is not normally tied up - then yes , a few minutes lack of freedom fits the bill . as per the Super nanny's "naughty step" though - this MUST be delivered correctly ;) ;) -

Dermatitis In Foot - Need Advice Please

..and , as dogs are DOGS, and not humans - there is NO need to 'help' Lace feel better when she gets home - don't go guilt buying--- or fuss over her 10 times more than usual , OK ? She will NOT worry about what has been - or what you may or may not have done. Just be practical, and sensible, and loving - keep to as normal a routine as you can - and that will help her just slot back into your home . Do you have everything needed at home for her convalescence ? like ramps etc ready if she is not allowed to jump/go up& down steps? A nice big and comfy crate where she can rest safely .. puzzle toys/treats - and a list of things she can learn while healing ? :) -
and having a REALLY long string on it in case he eats it anyway???
-
perhaps fit Spencer with a nice soft plastic muzzle ? I did this with one of my dogs after surgery for a foreign body .. he wore it most of the time for about 12 mths ;) ( apart from playing/training/eating bones etc ) also either have some way of stopping the dog getting into your brother's room? I also agree in giving teh bill to your brother!

11 Things That Humans Do That Dogs Hate

..a face rub by an owner is VERY different, IMO to an open hand - PAT PAT PAT on the top of the head that I see so many people do I have seen dogs bite (unknown) kids who went up to them and hugged them . I think it's a good list for non-dog-savvy people !! -
how scary

:) that sort of question is why a good professional's advice is so valuable - it is what they have studied and learned ,and worked with .. it's like going to a specialist if the first aid kit and/or GP can't fix a problem :) -

Ok - What training /exercise does your dog do each day ? Does he go to teh beach, parks, shops? Does he know any tricks? :) Does he spend a lot of time at home alone- ? Have you had his eyesight and hearing tested at all? he seems to have a few problems , you have mentioned he startles, is timid ..and does odd things - poor lad - I really think you are correct , and the problems in your household are not anything you, and "the internet" can comfortably fix. It's good that you are doing research , and now, with what you know , you will better understand why you need personal help from a professional :) I am not in a position to recommend anyone other than the team at K9 pro - they are fantastic with all things dog - and especially these sorts of happenings. if you CLICK here you will get to info on Steve and the services provided . It would also be a BIG advantage if you can get your dog checked out by a VETERINARY BEHAVIOURIST , as the signs he is showing may actually be coming from a disorder in his brain , or an illness .... For recommendations of REPUTABLE and very experienced professionals - just ask on here - this is not a simple "training" issue - as you have found out ... -
I know you worked hard with him - and I know you hurt. Run now, Jesse- no more problems ...
