sometimes the signs are not hanging on fences anymore ..and often, if baiting is done incorrectly, crows /magpies will pick up and drop baits a long way from where they should be

get Jonah used to wearing a nice basket orJafco muzzle ;) My bro works his dogs on properties which bait ( and tend to NOT do it correctly .... they all wear muzzles when working . my paranoia is more than mild ! A property owner we know lost a dog once when the fridge (in which he had stored rabbit baits (carrot/1080) in thick plastic bags ) leaked..dog licked at liquid .. died .

I'm glad you gave us an update - and hope the different vet can help. if he can eat fish .. that's good - there are quite a few foods with fish! :)

Awww... How much actual time in her day doe she look engaged and happy :) How much time is she a bit lost/sore...? It is so hard .I'm sorry ... With mine - trouble eating , loss of comfortable toilet habits , and any long term discomfort makes my decision easy . Yes, I could keep them going , and keep wondering/stressing ...but ... Dear old girl ..I hope you see the time to be strong for her ,and let her leave her pain behind so she can travel light across the bridge .... read this again ..

Tonsilitis can be nasty - and if the wrong AB's are used, then yes, different ones should work :) perhaps you could start another thread here asking for foods etc to boost the immune system ? :)
