My guess is that he has never learned about these things!! This could be a Very Good Thing ..as y, until he does, there won't be pressure to guard/steal resources like ones you describe :)

Seems a fairly normal situation ... just observe, don't take risks like feeding/giving bones when they are together ....and see :)

Very pretty lamb :) We have trouble at lambing time ..and cannot use dogs that are large and have a lot of white, otherwise tiny lambs get confused and follow a moving figure that isn't their Mum. Dogs seem to enjoy mothering lambs - neighbour has a pet ewe with twins ..and their Lab bitch follows them most of the day ..licking the lambs, and playing with them, luckily 'Mum' is used to the dog, and so 'shares' happily :)

I daresay the dogs had their reasons..and we will probably never know. I just hope the police did their job cleanly and quickly.

I'm afraid here ..they just end up with a very cute crumpled ear as no one really worries about appearances here. :) What I DO use to help keep swelling down/reduce discomfort , is ARNICA - the cream, and also tablets. Luckily we have only ever had about 3 dogs affected . I hope your girl can get help without the anaesthetic problems :) I will use the cylinder method next time, I think..along with plenty of arnica !

Perhaps just use vocal /physical praise, and not treats :) :) See if he is as willing to do things. If so ..then you can ditch the treat pouch!
