Katdogs

Depending on size and intensity, I usually pick up lightly what I can without rubbing, then let things dry, then brush out and/or vacuum as much dry 'stuff' as possible, before trying to wash out the rest with Napisan then rinse with white vinegar. I used to have a very vommy Birman cat on dark blue rental carpet, and his voms could (and did) peel paint and varnish, especially after the old style worm paste. And sausage sized furballs! Worst thing I've had to clean up was dog spew CONTAINING cat poo! Stinky and I almost spewed myself

And it means Lola was available for more cuddles with me today :) she's lovely!

As Perse says, just use the honest words. Atlas was very sick and died and everyone is very sad. My nephew had nightmares and wouldn't sleep for ages after someone told him death was like 'going to sleep and not waking up'.

Erskine Park on a Sunday still happens, also on Saturdays. I took Jodie for our first ever look at sheep last Sunday and she was brilliant! Well I think so anyway! We're going to go back for more, it was the most confident and happy I've ever seen my little girl :)

Might be too far to travel, but our favourite walks are foreshore at Glebe, all over Sydney Park at Tempe, and through the bush at Gannons Park at Peakhurst/Lugarno. Gannons isn't brilliant after heavy rain or if your dog has sensitive skin. All these are mostly leash-free and the first two have decent coffee nearby :)

Jodie and I are coming out tomorrow to see if she can be smarter than sheep! TDx is coming too. Woo hoo an adventure!

A few weeks ago Stevie was shedding in clumps of undercoat. I got a bit carried away with the furminator and her top coat is now shorter and feels wrong! I guess her coat will recover but what other tool should I use to get the shorter fluffier undercoat out? Pictures would be good because I really don't have a clue beyond 'brush' and 'comb' :embarrassed: Eta she's a Lab x GR

No tennis due to weather, looking for something to do with two well behaved but bored dogs :)

Poor kitties. I wonder if there's a Persian rescue group? Maybe look at the Cat-world website?

Presumably family or neighbours are visiting, and the cats are being cared for (if lonely) and the carers are now looking for rehome options? Otherwise it's a matter for the police or RSPCA, to enter the property legally. Eta or council ranger
