I bottle raised 3 puppies and had alot of trouble with tummy aches after feeding. Not being a mother myself I didn't know what was wrong with them, neither did the vet. It was only after I cuddled one to comfort it, did it do a big burp and immediately relax afterwards, so my advice would be dont forget to burp it after feeding, and when you handle it dont place your thumb flat across the soft little chest, I did that and started turning them into swimmers, as soon as I realised what was causing it I changed the way I held them and they came right in about 2 days.

thanks for the update, I really hope the owners cop it big time, but I have to say I'm feeling pessimistic about much being done, whatever happens it wont take away the horrible, terrifying end that little Sarge endured or the trauma his family are now going through

Rozzie do you know whether this time the owners have been reported and the dog impounded? Can you give us an update. I really hope the owners are made accountable for this horror.

eww no, I did have parrots pick through the dogs turds a while back when the dogs ate some bird seed. They didn't eat much of the seed but the birds were very observant and were prepared to rifle through the poo to eat any whole seeds

I've been told that it is highly likely that they will join or at least attend the fun runs. Also, the black whippets are a good chance to come along too. And we've been invited to go and meet them when they arrive if you want to. I'd like to. :)

re your question about what makes a professional photographer, I would say someone who makes a living out of it. They might be lousy in some other photographers opinions, but if enough people still like their work enough to buy it and give them an income to live on then they're a professional IMO. What makes a good photographer would be another matter entirely :laugh:

Yep, I saw a doco a couple of years ago where a council worker grabbed a timid little terrier, dragged it out of the car, shot it and threw it onto a rubbish dump. They made no secret of it being done, he knew it was a doco. Just how it is in some places.

About 8 years ago a friend of mine had a race bred greyhound that was given to her as a puppy, considered by the breeder to be unsuitable conformationally to race. She just arranged with GAP to take it to Seymour for the day and it was assessed there and then. She had to pay a fee, I think at the time it was about $40 and she got the green collar, I think it was posted to her later. I'm certain fees have gone up, but I hope in your greyhounds case he will be assessed in the same manner.

Nup, not that flash, just DPP the Canon program and I've been trying but I'm struggling to make it not stand out like a sore thumb.

I think it was partial metering in this case. I do shoot in RAW and YES!!! I can clone!! hadn't thought of that. Watch this space! :D
