I'd love to be able to see them a bit better, from what I can see they look great.

great photos. Have you ever hidden in the long grass and spied on them. I used to do that and they'd leap and bounce around looking for me, and when they'd find me there'd be much waggy tails and kisses. You should give it a try.

How would it look if you cropped the grassy area off to the left, so you just have the girl and the dog, with no blank area? Can you give it a try please, I'm curious.

I'd best aim for a big win then, and we could have a few new breeds in Oz. Love the Stepnayas: Plus who can resist puppies??? Stepnaya and Chortaj: Never heard of these before but I love the look of them.

Rare Or Disqualifed Colours In Breeds.Kirislin replied to poodlefan's topic in General Dog Discussion I'm a bit confused. Are some people here saying none of these mismarked or mis coated dogs should have seen the light of day if they'd been bred by responsible breeders, they all should have been culled at birth?

I'm looking after a friends dogs while she is in hospital. I wanted her to know how well they're getting on here and how cute they are when they wrestle and play. Enzo had other ideas. I'm new to videos, not sure why it keeps stopping but if you let it load and then play it through a second time it seems to work. http://www.flickr.com/photos/32012294@N02/5148471720/

what an amazing photo, so clear too. Aphids are such funny looking (as in comical) bugs to me.

there's a thing called exif data. you can download a program and once done, right click on the photo. sometimes the data shows up, but not always.

there's a girl at the park who has what is possibly a cross bred one of these. She calls her Lundy and she's gorgeous. she doesn't have the extra toes though.

I agree, I was looking for the right word.

There's Shetland Sheepdog in the mix too. The breed is affected by CEA. I think there's at least two (possibly three) types that are trying to be recognised as new breeds. Silken windhound and silken windsprite aka longhaired whippet, that has sheltie in it. Not sure if I've got that right, it's all very confusing and contentious in whippet circles because of the way Walter Wheeler insisted there was a long hair gene in whippets and he just bred with it. There's never been longhaired whippets, wire haired, yes, and even today you see some whippets with quite harsh coats, which by the way is a fault. Walter Wheeler also bred shelties and I dont think genetic testing was around when he was doing his shonky breeding but it's all been proven now. There are still those who insist he just used whippets though. at least the silken windhound people were up front about crossing breeds though.
