  1. Noooo dont do it, come back to us here and get inspired again.
  2. Tag, like his mum often brings gifts to me when I come home after leaving them for a while. He also has the revolting habit of eating dog poo. This afternoon he did his normal coy greeting carrying something delicately between his teeth. My sixth sense told me not to hold my hand out and thank him for his lovely gift. Instead I asked him what it was and to put it down. Yes, I am sure you've guessed, it was a dog turd.
  3. as long as her skin's not burnt underneath it should just grow out.
  4. Your puppy is only 6 weeks? that's way too young to be taken off its mum. Anyway, I hope it's had its 2, 4, and 6 week worming with Drontal for intestinal worms. I'm not familiar with the heartworming regime for pups, it's changed since mine were little.
  5. She's got some attitude hasn't she. Too much red cordial? In the 2nd pic of them all posed together they look like they've been taxidermied, especially Ahsoka and Fable. hahahahaha
  6. Congrats, look forward to hearing about it and seeing some photos If anyone wants to know, I was using mine in a kitchen with only down lights last night and the photos came out really great! On manual and no flash. I'm yet to see any pics from your new camera, come on!!!
  7. Sigma are going to release a 1.4. I wonder what that will be like.
  8. When I was describing the Chis as spoilt yappy little things I specifically meant my parents dogs. I wasn't generalising, I meant I'd already formed an opinion of them and I didn't like them. It was only after my father died, and I got to know the dogs better I realised how lovely they were. Which is saying alot for their personalities because they actually managed to change my negative opinion of them. As to Bindie the weight loss queen, please keep reducing her food to get that extra weight off her, you will be doing her such a favour, she'll be like a new dog.
  9. I tried one too. he's not dead, and he's not suffering, it's my Pucky just being a character actor. Does it look creepy?
  10. He's as playful as a puppy Annie
  11. No only that I think the 85mm 1.2L is the sexiest most beautiful lens I've ever seen. I dont need it, cant afford it, but I want it just so I can gaze lovingly at it. ;) http://www.google.com.au/imgres?imgurl=htt...ved=0CC0Q9QEwBQ http://www.dwidigitalcameras.com.au/store/...?idProduct=1469
  12. I wont be clicking on the links cause I dont want graphic pics etched into my brain forever.
  13. Was it a surprise?? What a wonderful hubby, that should earn him lots and lots of man credits. ;) Happy Birthday to you too.
  14. Maybe a zoom. 70-300 perhaps?? http://www.dwidigitalcameras.com.au/store/...p?idProduct=726 or the more pricey, less zoomy 70-200 L http://www.dwidigitalcameras.com.au/store/...sp?idProduct=69 or perhaps a macro??? the extremely versatile 100mm http://www.dwidigitalcameras.com.au/store/...sp?idProduct=30 cheaper now than my 2nd hand one I bought 2 years ago.
  15. Ooooh she's lovely, we had them when we were younger. She looks like the old fashioned type, more like I remember ours, she doesn't have the very exaggerated head that I've seen on some modern ones. She's more the kind I would want if ever I could get another cat.
  16. I just use zoom browser and DPP that come with your Canon. Try them before you go shelling out more money on editing programs. You might find they're enough.
  17. I don't know where the work on this Animoto presentation fits between Brunelli and Hale. http://video214.com/play/2c32RZHOypvyMQ9aD8ieuw/s/dark - the shoot was a fundraiser for rescue, (there are links at the end of it for BSL info and Pit Bull rescue). Where I think these shots approach great is that they are from one full-on two-day charity shoot, so under pressure - and has still caught a lot of personality without making it schmaltzy or like Huga said, "fluffy". Kirislin - have you seen Julie Poole's shots of Whippets? She has a new Animoto of them with some good action shots. Yes, she's on a US whippet forum that I am on.
  18. You would shudder to know the mess that is under that patch! :D Not sure I would be very good at a repair business - poor ted had his eye ripped out and had to wait about 6 weeks for surgery, so the waiting list needs some work. Still better than the public health system.
  19. the dear little things. I have a soft spot for Chis after my parents had them. I initially thought they were spoilt creepy yappy little things until I actually got to know them. Yes, they were spoiled but they were thoroughly charming little dogs. Clever, happy little guys.
  20. Have you upgraded now Kerri, what have you got?
