Frozen yogurt for her then.

Happy tears are most definitely appropriate in this situation Bec. Hey maybe you can ask for a fancy new lens or camera instead of renumeration. Ooooh wouldn't that be nice. How about a link to their website where it's mentioned.

Yee haa, me goes bucking around the room in celebration for you. I asked about this just the other day but I dont think you saw my thread. So happy for you. Well deserved too. I cant wait to see it on telly. Wow, you will be famous. You must feel like you are floating on air right now.

what a coincidence that the same question was asked a year ago to the day, and how amazing is Terras memory!!!!

What an amazing transformation. Is his temperment good too, sounds like you need to teach him a bit. I hope it all works out and he develops into a perfect canine citizen. -
I hope she is going OK. I wonder if she gets to eat lots of yummy ice cream like kids used to when they had their tonsils removed. I hope so for her sake, she looks like the kind of girl who would love ice cream.

Sending good thoughts to Lola, hoping all is going well.

good on ya :D yep it's full steam ahead for Sunday, I am about to order the snags, I've got to make sure my camera batteries are fully charged. Really hoping to get some exciting piccies, anyone else who is planning on coming, dont forget your cameras. Although I haven't succeeded in the past these are the sort of photos I would dearly love to get. I am a big fan of Julie Wards photos. She captures the excitement and intensity of the chase so well. Have a look, they are breathtaking http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showpo...p;postcount=113 some more http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showpo...p;postcount=109

I am sure we'd all love to see the photos you all entered, even if they're not doggy related. Please show us.

I try to only give mine lamb bones, either necks or ribs. I dont like leg bones as they never have much meat on them. My dogs like to eat all the bone. They also get chicken, either carcasses or whole limbs. Tonight they get their usual cooked loaf with a chicken drumstick chaser. I dont like giving them beef bones, I think they're too big for my size dogs.

I much prefer candids too, I think 16paws did a good crop, it's better with a closer crop.

amazing, it's wonderful to have Roccos talent recognised in the big wide world, we already knew it here. And congratulations to you Ash and your hubby too and thanks for giving Rocco a push.

I emailed them for you to see if they sell just the body but they dont, this is the cheapest Canon I could see with a lens http://www.dwidigitalcameras.com.au/store/...?idProduct=1687 it is within your price range anyway.
-
I did a poll a year or so ago asking what camera people had, I think Canon came out on top, I wonder if it's still around. Probably been deleted by now.
-
Boom! Boom! Boom! Can you guess? Canon all the way here
-
Yeah, I'm completely stuffed now I was hoping to get out of it around $3-700 mark, which is why I was looking on places like ebay for hopefully a bargain. It's for my birthday present - OH has just 'treated' himself to something quite expensive for his new hobby so I thought bugger it, why not! Unfortunately my taste is definitely at teh champagne end of things and I just know that this particular budget is homemade brewski The Pentax is interesting though - OH bought a Pentax SLR with a very big lens and filters etc years and years ago - will look up the model suggested and see what it's like. If I can get away with using the old paraphernalia on a new camera, that may be the way to go??? I do like the Canons though, must admit! You still might. check out DWI http://www.dwidigitalcameras.com.au/store/...=20&brand=2 they also sell Pentax I see. I dont know anything about them but the lenses seem a bit more than the Canon within the same range, eg 50mm and 100mm macro.

Oh dear, you poor thing Sol, now I bet you are thoroughly confused. Perhaps if you go into a camera shop and hold a few different cameras.
-
OK now knowing you are pregnant, you definitely need a dslr and I would also say buy the 50 1.8 as it would be lovely for taking those priceless pics of your baby. Dont worry, you WILL learn to use your camera. You might never fully understand everything it can do as I confess I dont with mine. But I still get so much pleasure from it I dont care and if I ever decide to really throw myself into it and learn more the camera can take me there. What is your budget?
-
Not sure what you mean here. It sounds like you are saying you dont want a dslr but then you seem to be saying you do. Dont worry about not understanding about exposure, speed, aperture etc. You will learn. dslrs have lots of different options, when you first start out you will probably have it in auto where everything is done for you but as you gain an understanding, and start to want more from your camera, it will be there for you. I'd say get a dslr!

hahahah fantastic!

What Quirky, Cute & Funny Things Does Your Dog Do?
Kirislin replied to Baileys mum's topic in General Dog Discussion
Puck is my funny quirky boy. He wears PJ's at night from now on till it warms up again. When I take them off him in the morning I first take his back legs out and then I say Head down so I can slip it over his head, but instead of him putting his head down, he's evolved it into a bow and stretch. He does it every time. He loves his collar. It's a big cumbersome one so sometimes I take it off him to give him a rest, but he hates being without it. If I put it on a chair he will grab it and bring it to me so I will put it back on him. Sometimes he just carries it around so no one else can get it. He's been known to take it to bed with him to keep it safe and if Tag comes close while he's carrying it he will growl. -
Nah, I dont advertise it. I'm a bit shy cause it's not very good compared to you guys. I only used it to make calendars for friends and the whippet racing club. I just hadn't set everything to private and someone found it.
