photos, we need photos!

In the photo it doesn't really look like her belly has dropped, but maybe it's hard to tell with her being white. This reminds me so much of when I was posting about Widge and everyone was waiting waiting waiting.... :laugh:

I wonder why the commands are Haw and Gee. Pretty sure that's the same with carriage driving horses. Why dont they just say left and right I wonder. hmmmmm

she does the most expressive cartoons of dogs, usually featuring a whippet, which of course appeals to me, but I love her style too. just put a muzzle on him, that will keep them away. Personally I pretty much expect people will stop me and want to talk and pat the dogs, it's just the nature of (some) people, and I accept it, and most of the time, enjoy it, apart from the smart arses who think they're funny and original when they say "what's that? it looks like a rat! Har har har" (insert Mr Rolly eyes here) Like I've never heard it before.

True. I only took 2 of mine when I went the other week. 4 would have been too many to comfortably handle and still be able to browse and shop.

Years ago I got in to the Royal Melbourne Show simply because I turned up with my 2 pet whippets on leads. I just went through the normal entrance but the bloke assumed I was showing them. It wasn't even whippet day. :laugh: They're alot stricter and more careful now.

Yes sure, so long as they're under control, not aggressive and dont piss all over the stallholders wares and their handlers pick up after them. I love seeing dogs at markets. I took 2 of mine last week and couldn't count the number of times we were stopped so people could pat them and talk to me.

Most of the breeds that people are importing are already here. Not too often a completely new breed comes in. Looking on DOLs breeders page there's not alot of Afghan breeders.

SADS... she looks sad too the poor little thing. I hope she'll get a good home and live a long happy life

Yeah I think this is probably the case. There's plenty of GSD's around but still being imported :) Yep, there were a few there yesterday. Lots of dogs are being imported all the time. Afghans are probably one of the less common. why the sad face? Its not a sad face , its a confused ine. I didn't realise affies were so unusual that theyre imported? I'd say thats what the face was about. Dogs dont have to be unusual to be imported. I would dearly love to be able to afford to import a whippet, and I probably wouldn't even want to show it.

why the sad face?

I few times, mostly human error. The times they catch me unawares is when we've been to the park for a walk and I let them out of the car thinking they'll run straight to the gate like they do 99.999999% of the time to be let into the back yard, but just occasionally one will take off down the driveway and the others follow. The main culprits for starting it were Kibah, (now dec ) and the wickedest dog in the world PUCK! Now I usually make sure he's got his lead on to walk to the gate.

It was amazing seeing how many dogs are being imported. I wanted to take photos of some of them and luckily for me I couldn't manage to focus through the wire because one of the girls came out and said I'm not allowed to take photos of the other dogs due to privacy. oops it didn't occur to me.

Yep, she is an Afghan. :D
