Charlie is only flat collar. Emmy is flat collar or harness. Depends on where we are going and what we're doing. Only time they are off leash when we go out is either at a friend's house where there is secure fencing or off leash parks. Everywhere else, they are leashed.

Aww.. Hachi will cry for the first few weeks. It takes a while for a puppy to get use to new surroundings and he hasn't settled into a new routine yet either. Once it gets use to a routine, then it will settle and whinging shouldn't be so bad or it stops. I supervise puppies eating new treats for the first time, watch how they eat and stuff. I don't supervise my 2 on eating treats now, because they take their time on eating their treats and takes them forever to finish a pig ear... (Charlie takes about 6 months to finish one pig ear and it takes Emmy about 2 months).

Once a week the The Sibs gets Egg Milkshake... shell and all. Both of them love it.

I will definitely invest in a life jacket too

invest in ear plugs ;) I agree with the others.. if you are intending your very cute pup to be an outside dog, then you shouldn't be letting him in your room at all. It would confuse the little one. Put him in the laundry first because 8 weeks is still very young for him to stay outside. Good luck.

First time is always a learning experience while holiday with a pet for the first time. Expect the good and expect the bad. The next trip you will have more fun and relax more, because you know from the first time. Bring a crate, long leash and extra treats. I've taken my 2 on a lot of trips with me, and each of them are different but more we go, the better time we have Good luck and have fun.

This in itself can be considered an offence. If any dog runs up fast to me or my dogs it gets my boot in it's face. Even in an offlead dog park..? Yep.

It took Emmy a few seconds to figure out what she was suppose to do. she swam to shore and then turn back out again... she prefer swimming without her vest now Charlie is faster in water than he is on land.
