  7. aww sounds like a sweety...waiting not so patiently for piccies
  8. yep what everyone else is saying, full checkup i'd even see a good chiro, he could be out in his body somewhere also consider what others said about you possibly hurting him cause of his skin problems, maybe stop brushing him, or take him to a groomer so you are not the "bad guy" etc then move on to the behaviourist and maybe set some boundaries so that you are top dog, not him, so to speak
  9. awesome pics!! super jealous of you going to the husky farm bet that was a hoot!! and werent the puppies gorgeous i agree they do look somewhat kelpi-ish lol sounds like you had an awesome holiday
  10. yes they are a very popular breed. but any breed that has alot of idiot owners buying them are in chance for becoming the most "aggressive" breed I really think that by law every new puppy owner must do preschool with the pup. at least. that will weed out anyone who doesnt want to give the puppy time and training. I know it would be another hard one to follow up on, but pple need training and to learn really how to handle their dogs just my 2 cents anyway
  11. yes i have heard shock collars can cause aggression and fear issues
  12. ok so mine are in the house atm only, with pup in crate (she just dug up our carpet in the spare room..OH not happy) OH wants them back in the yard, but my pup is a barker...any suggestions?
  13. gorgeous!! i just wanna come and take Cloud home, i love the pic of her with the dogs lieing down she looks tiny!!
  14. the best medicine is time. continue the supervised play, separate them when u cant supervise and one day when duke is a bit older i think it will just work out, they will be more bonded, duke will prob be able to tell bear off a bit better etc. i dont really think you have anything to worry about. but definatley do separate them when you hear pup cry, do u use time outs on bear? maybe when u hear duke cry you could time out bear and that could teach him not to push duke to crying point in a game just an idea
  15. sorry cant help you i have also had council complaints my 2 dogs were outside and are now inside. i believe my girl was barking at birds and anything really, now she cant see i think she is better if your pup is already inside i really dont know what u can do...maybe try a citronella collar...sounds like you are already giving the puppy things to occupy the mind sorry, im in a similar boat good luck
  16. +1  def dont get a koolie if you are a lazy person  mine have taught me not to be lazy  who would have thought of a rottweiler as a lap dog love it
  17. after not crate training one dog. and crate training my second. i 100% am for crate training. my second dog is easier to manage, ie just pop her in a crate when i cant supervise. my older boy destroyed many household items in his youth due to not being able to crate him (he stresses to much in the crate now)
  18. WnH i love looking at your horses...careful or one day i'll come out and nick them ;) they are stunning, great shots
