  1. i have brought Panalog at the canadian pharmacy, no trouble getting it in.
  2. yes, i give my bully a tin of sardines in oil everyday, has made a difference.
  3. i would also be getting a 'beware doberman patrolling' sign or something too regarding the vandalism.
  4. I have a bully with sensitive skin and used to feed Advance,( my other 2 are still on it as i like it), but i have been trying "VANs" for the last few months with raw chicken mince and she loves it.
  5. Dogmad maybe the one to speak to.
  6. Get them to look at the Blacktown pound thread, full of staffys
  7. just a thought, make sure the dogs paperwork is put in your name, you don't want him to come back later and ask for him back after all your hard work.
  8. My thoughts are with them, they looked more BM to me too. They tried to do the right thing. Very sad day for red looking dogs in victoria
  9. ok, thanks, what time is it on till? may pop over after work in the arvo, assume you can take your dogs?
  10. Any reason he has to be kennelled near his breeder? Just limits you,its school hols in a week, so kennels will be full. A good kennel, get it up off the ground, mine are on wooden pallets, lots of bedding, try opp shops for doona's. A trip to Parklea markets might be worth it, i get all my beds etc there, much cheaper, and they do have kennels. A trip to K9pro is a good idea, a 2 year old entire Dougue may not be that easy. Check what he eats too atm.
  11. Just measured my dally and he is 46cm, but then he is male and a nice solid chunky one, not the puny ones you see theses days :D
  12. Is he causing problems in the pack, so they then tell him off? Some dogs are just not meant to be in multiple dog households, they don't want to be in charge, but they just cause trouble, it makes them look the victim when the other dogs put them back in their place, but its actually them causing the problem ,( i have one here ). They need to be only dogs.
  13. My pet shop at Seven Hills sells roo meat for $3.99 kg i saw yesterday :)
  14. I would be ringing the pound and explaining the situation, unless he is under duty of care the vet is doing the wrong thing. Explain they wanted to adopt the pup and the vet won't release it to take it to the pound.
  15. He is still strainig alot to poo, did another tiny one late last night when i let him out, he hadn't been allday. It was very hard, bullet like, but he is only on a little chicken mince and rice atm. I am thinking of keeping him on that today and then slowly giving him a little kibble too. Apart from that he is tired easily, and i have noticed on the last 2 days late on in the day he starts to pant? And he isn't hot, he is outside with the other 2 during the day.
  16. Just got back with mine all coated up. ( their coats are off ebay 'bellaru") really good, have darts in the front so they can still run, and only about $35 each i think. :) I also give my bully cardboard box's from bunnings to shred.
  17. I like the look of roo meat, does look good, but the cheapest i could get it was $4.99 for 800g roll, whereas i get chicken mince for $1.99 kg. Mixing it is a good idea. since i have been adding sardines in oil her coat looks much better too, not that white shines alot anyway
  18. He is a bit quiet today, just sleeping, he did do a little poo, but was a bit strained to do it. He is holding down the small portions of food. Thankyou to everyone for the support, it really means alot to me
  19. The bill has "vettest-haematology", would that be bloods? He slept well last night, went out for a wee this morning, licked Bonne's face all over to wake her up ( my BT), and is now settled in front of the heater. Hopeing i see him poo a bit more noramlly today.
  20. you could have brought him here, bonne would love a spitz tug toy to play with
  21. just a thought, but petstock have gift cards, so for future reference its a good idea.
  22. Looking better tonight, he has eaten his tea, just chicken and rice and is asleep. he did have a runny poo today, just a tiny one, thats all he has passed today, weeing ok. Hopefully the meds are starting to work. kamuzz's setter had eaten a tug toy end and is still at the vets recovering, at least they weren't baited.
  23. he just a little bit on chicken and rice, i had to hand feed him, but he ate it, just waiting to see if he can hold it down. kamuzz's setter just about to have surgery, so will be interesting to see what they find.
