I think it was on sale for about $20 cheaper at the time, but it's still way better than the $250 - 300 I had been seeing everywhere to get that size from a pet store. Delivery was only about 2-3 days as well.

Sorry guys, I'm hopeless at the search feature so if I have missed a thread, please forgive me. Does anyone have any suggestions on really cheap online sites for buying vet products?? I'd like to buy 6-12 months (depending on the price) of Sentinel Spectrum for my boy. And possibly a few other things. Just trying to find a really good price as it's fairly expensive since I need the largest one. Thanks in advance

Gosh TN, how is anyone else going to get a spot in the calendar!!! I was going to say I love number... & .... and then well, I realised that all of them are fabulous, I don't think it's possible to have a favourite.

I took Kyojin to his first puppy class last night. I was a bit surprised that we, well not quite got in trouble, but were told that we were doing the wrong thing as we have already taught Kyojin to sit and leave it on command, and are working on shake at the moment (He paws a lot, so we figured we'd make use of it) because we verbally say the commands to him. Apparently we should only be using hand signals until he's 120% amazing at it and can do it from miles away, or when we have our backs to him etc. I've never heard of this. Every dog I've had we've taught them to do something while saying the command when they do it right, and then praising. So far, so good. I also got told off because we very rarely give him treat rewards at home. Supposedly having a dog that is happy to work for praise isn't such a good thing Are we doing the wrong thing???

We get this alot too! Last time was when we were buying the biggest bag of dog food (PetBarn had a special deal ) and one of the shop people said, "that'll last, what two weeks?" You'd be surprised how little my boy eats! Those big bags last us 6-8 weeks (think they're about 15Kg bags) I've already had that same comment when buying a 15kg bag from Pet Barn!!! And Kyojin's only a little boy We're very curious as to how long those big bags will last us, so that's good to know. How many cups does Kuma get a day??

Floorboards. I wish they were stained rather than polished though so that they wouldn't show up foot prints etc as soon as you walk on them.

I've had my pup for just over a week, and so far we have had him inside almost all of the time. He has on occasion been in the yard for an hour or so, as we are looking after the in-laws GR for the moment, so we have been letting the two of them play together. The rest of the time he's inside with us. Our boy sleeps most of the time anyway, but as PF pointed out, it's much easier to bond with your pup the more time you can spend with each other. I like just having him in the house with me as I can still go about my business, but still keep an eye on him and give him cuddles or pats whenever I/he wants.

I much prefer suede as I like the look, comfort etc of it much better. And you don't have to worry about it being too cold/too hot to sit on! Pet hair also vacuums straight off it, which is fantastic. Leather is also extremely durable (minus scratching!!!!) and anything spilled on it will wipe straight off.

If you are afraid to confront him, then definitely report him. That sort of behaviour is just disgusting. And as others have said, if he did hit you, you would have a case for assault which would probably see him get a harsher punishment anyway...

I don't think the part about children buying pets is going to have a great effect, I'd rather see banning of animal sales from pet stores in general. But I do love the part about animals in shelters being allowed up to 6 weeks to find a new home. However, I am happy to see that if they are going to allow dog/cat sales in pet stores, that they have to be desexed.
