  1. My boy gets 300 grams of Kibble in it every evening, takes him just under an hour.
  2. Perhaps it might be the static that's the problem then not just general nerviousness?
  3. If you already have the money how can it be taken from you?
  4. My old girl and the pup hate the rain and will toilet outside but usually in inappropriate areas such as on the concrete undercover. I take them out every 2 hours when I'm home if it's raining to make sure they empty out. The old girl wouldn't have an accident but I don't want to set the pup up for faliure.
  5. They're a sighthound yeah? So not really reliable off lead?
  6. My puppy whinges in the morning, she's already been toileted by my partner prior to that. Quite simply Puppies want up and out, just don't go to them when they're making a noise, over time they will be able to sleep longer. Pups can have a problem with coping with frustration so barking and whining is a release for them that they hope will work and in most cases it gets them exactly what they want so they continue to do it.
  7. I think the Muzzle being referred to is the HUSHER which is specifically for barking. http://www.husher.com.au/
  8. Although it sounds Dodgy I'm not sure how the scam works because if money is paypal'd over to you then you'd have the money?

#1 - She's a puppy. It's not a good idea to go after her and then tell her off, she has no idea what you're going on about. Just clip her on and go on with your day. As for the ignoring....that's you being emotional, your dog has no idea what is happening. You need to invest more training and increasing her value for the recalls.
  10. I'm in 2 minds as I have seen on some occassions the general public just letting their dogs appraoch other peoples dogs and that really doesn't make me feel comfortable.
  11. Depending why the dog is scared i.e. Noise vs Static you could try one of these methods Thunder Shirt available in Australia Storm Defender Coat availble in America to Australia A friend actuall sent me an e-mail today about a simple solution to geting rid of Storm Static on Dogs who get scared by it, you just get those clothes dryer static pads and rub over the dog.
  12. For us, Bob-a-lot is easily destroyed as it has a screw on Bob, my dog went straight for this. The Kong Wobbler if purchased in the appropriate size, they can't really destroy from what I've seen. My male Dane is king destroyer and he's yet to even put a dent in it. VS Also the Kong Wobbler is super easy to fill, simply unscrew and put in Kibble, we put 300 grams with no trouble, however with the Bob-A-Lot you have to put it through a small hole area which takes forever.
  13. eBay. Click here I just found a Large one for $28 here and $30 here They're $40+ in Petbarn for the Large ones.
  14. We just replaced our Bob-a-lot which Dante destroyed with a Kong Wobbler and am very happy.
  15. I don't ask my dogs to hold on that long as they inside/outside access however when I get home Dante will do a 5min wee, I presume he hasn't done one all day.
  16. Why do people over think simple concepts?
  17. Doesn't sound like Mange, I think you need to take both the dogs back to the Vets. Loads of Harles and Danes in general don't cope well with Oatmeal shampoos and if the dog has a Yeast problem then Oatmeal will only feed the problem.
  18. Tried Porridge Oats? Lamb Flaps? Uncle Ulbers Kibble?
  19. Pet Sitters, Food for thought.... Your dog is not blowing you off, could it be that it's actually shutting down. Aggression when giving complusion, could your dog be showing frustration because it doesn't know how to handle its' frustration?
  20. I'd be doing the Omega's and using a product like this: http://www.hishine.net.au/
  21. For me I would define what the dog considers quality of life i.e. the dog enjoys and looks forward to its walks, can toilet by itself, is happy majority of the time and is not in pain the majority of the time (can be managed by drugs etc). When the dog is no longer able to have that I would struggle but would most likely say good bye.
