Heya, A while ago there was a post I think by Iggy Rescue who made some really funky cocoon/iglo type beds, I've tried Google but haven't been able to locate them. Anyone remember seeing them or who they were made by?

I don't know how you would define it but either way my opinion is we don't need aggressive dogs brought into the country.

Goodness, how very dramatic....asking people for the same information they provide to set up an account at the local video store is to much to ask Dog Showers? -

How To Remove Staining On White Dogs

I am not aware of any research into the use of Angels Eyes (or Angles Glow etc), could you please provide links. Thanks. Btw are you aware that it is illegal to self prescribe it to your dogs? Clearly it's not illgeal to use Angel Eyes. -
I use a number of different traiining styles and clicker is one of them, I love the clicker for training things that need to be broken into many different small steps. Clicker can be used for just about anything, it all depends on your skill as the clicker operator, timing is crucial.

Great to see that you have touched base with a Behaviourist and I wish you all the best in managing them going forward. I personaly don't believe that re-homing a dog-aggressive dog is the right thing to do for a few reasons....people don't generally want dog aggressive dogs and if they do you'll want to question that and secondly I've seen so many times that even people you believe to have the skill to manage simple boundary and rule setting aren't capable and with a dog aggressive dogs that's just a reciepe for distaster, I have to say I personaly have not known any dog aggressive dog to be rehomed successfully i.e. was not put to sleep for aggression issues by its' owner - usually because the new owner was not able to handle the dog and an inccident happened. In Rescue Great Danes, I don't touch dog aggressive dogs because I believe them to be a liability and there are a huge amount of non-aggressive dogs needing new homes, mind you I'm dealing with 60-80 kilo dogs and that's no place for aggression.

Good Luck! When Dante had his blockage he was in obvious discomfort, in the end he was vomiting what smelt like he was pooing out of his mouth, it was horrendous.

I wouldn't enter the park with an excited dog. Walk around and train and then enter the park with a calm dog. Even baby puppies need rules, dogs are never too young or too old for rules and boundaries.

Sometimes see Black turn to Brown on some patches of a Harlequin (they're fairly sensitive skin wise sometimes). If it's not sunburn you can look at increasing your Omega's or making sure you're using the correct ratio. EPO is a great option for dogs with skin disorders, the actual dose fo dogs with skin disorders is very high. Quoted from expert: Evening primrose oil (EPO) added to the diet can help with improving the barrier protection. This helps the body build a "coat of armor" over the defective ceramide layer of the skin. Evening primrose oil must be fed daily for 8 weeks to take effect and then maintained every day to maintain its action in protecting the skin. This lag effect must be considered. It takes time to work. You also need to use it in the correct dose or it won't work. The correct dose of evening primrose oil is 1000mg capsule/5Kg daily. Pred can cause hyper pigmentation, this may have something to do with it? Maybe best to head to the Vets, have some bloods taken to test things such as Live Function and also Thyroid?

I used it recently on my Allergic dog, hoping for a miracle cure, didn't see any changes in skin or digestion. I'm sure it works very well on other dogs, he's just a challenging one.

Perhaos the Rescue can assist you with funding a Behavioural visit?

My 4 year old as a pup was indifferent to people, it's challenging that is for sure, although since de-sexed at 2 years of age he changed his tune. I wouldn't let this puppy run with other dogs. If the dog doesn't suit you, send it back, that's just my i.m.o. because I don't believe they make good companion dogs. Might be good for a different family.

Not sure why you have a puppy at 7 weeks when they shouldn't leave until they are 8 weeks. Just verbally repremand and walk away.

The dog is a puppy, your expectations of toilet training are too high. Don't set the puppy up for faliure, do not let it have free reine of the house when you leave, Crate the puppy or put it outside. Dogs don't know what toilet pads are unless you teach them and keeping putting them on it at the right times and praises.....over a period of time not just a few days or a week.

Used it for about 6 months on a allergic dog. No noticeable difference to any other Omega.

If you're asking about feedback on her conformation you may want to post this in the 'Show' thread or the 'Goldies' thread. Perhaps you don't hold her head up so high... -
Kids shouldn't been walking the dog but a dog aggressive dog doesn't have a muzzle on.....shouldn't let your dogs near it.....

You can't get an entire representation of dogs it's like TV and Radio ratings, you take a group of 1000 and there's an actual scientific calculation to determine these things. -

How did they check her tolerance to food? -
Have puppy infront of you, have a treat is your closed fist, put your first in front of the dog, open you hand, if the dog moves towards the treat close your fist, repeat repeat repeat until the dog does no longer assumes they can just take the treat then say YES and take the treat out of your hand with your other hand and give it to the dog.
