Apparently there is not much difference between desexing at 10 weeks or desexing at 6mths. Either way you are desexing a juvenile.

We sell them at work but honestly, not many dogs will tolerate them. Doggles now make mesh eyewear which seem more comfortable for the dogs.

Might be a senile behaviour. Time for a thorough vet check for both, but I'd be more concerned about the old boy.

Could be demodex too. Frenchies are quite prone to it, and it generally occurs in dogs with poor immune systems.

Having him desexed won't calm him down - training will.

Pudding is a Pug x Frenchie. She is less than a year old and was born and raised on a puppy farm. She developed Demodex which turned out to be the best thing that ever happened because the puppy farmer didn't want her anymore. She is quite overwhelmed by the world at present, but my beautiful dogs are doing their best to make her feel comfortable.

We use DAP at work in the kennels and it seems to have a positive effect.

My Greyhound Pia, my foster kitten Rambo and my newest foster dog Pudding (who has only been here 3 hours!) have been loving it up on the couch tonight. :)

Also look at doing an Animal Tech course instead. Similar to the nursing course but no employment requirements. You can use that to get a job and then do the course. :)

Perfume, people can SAY whatever they want! People lie! I once met a puppy farmer who boasted about how she lied to breeders to get a puppy from them. She would tell them all about her large property, kids, etc. Words mean nothing. I always FB stalk potential adopters and it has saved me a few times.

If you don't like it, move on. Personally I expect to be interrogated a bit - shows the breeder cares about their puppies. Breeders have to protect their puppies from backyard breeders, puppy farmers and people who just want a cute puppy.

PBS doesn't cover animal medication. All vet meds have a mark-up, its how vets make their money. If they are happy to provide a script, get it from your chemist. Also remember that chemists buy in much larger quantities than vets so will often be able to buy drugs for much less.

I'm one of those people... I much prefer girls and get seriously grossed out when I'm cuddling a boy and accidentally touch their penis lol. However I have one boy now and my next dog will probably be a boy. :)
