This place is by far the cheapest you'll find stuff like flea protection and heartworm protection etc etc. This is where I buy my stuff, but I'm also looking into Trixanpet.com.au since five minutes ago because they have a price match guarantee so that could be fun. Thanks for the link, they are cheap. Are they in Aust? I have used Trixanpet and vetproductsdirect before for flea treatments. I use comfortis and mine have the yearly heartworm inject. Thanks! Their prices work out about the same as priceless pets (who i currently use) once you take into account the free postage (for frontline and heartgard anyway) I will definately give the Valuheart a shot next time though, as it is alot cheaper, and priceless pets don't sell that.

It could of changed. I know mine was for over 1k, as one of my lenses was worth 900 by itself at the time.

I used to have my camera and lenses covered by my home and contents insurance - it covered me for if it got stolen when out of the house too.

I use Heartgard. I've never heard of valuheart - any rec's on where I can buy it? I just bought a 6pk of the Heartgard but will keep it in mind for when it runs out. It is quite pricey!

Thanks Kirislin, I will check the tutorials out. Im probably going to have to struggle my way through the next 3 months. Im taking a break from Uni in September, so will have plenty of time then to learn new things then, but now Im a bit time poor.

Yes Im a little nervous of using it! I'm not going to sell my 350d, its probably worth nothing anyway. Im going to let my dad use it. Im too attached to it Its frustrating having it sat there and not being able to use it! Im going to try and get a CF card on my lunch break, then at least I can have 10 mins or so of fiddling around at work while its still daylight. By the time I get home its dark and I suck when it comes to the flash! If I can't get one at a decent price, OH will get one from the city.

I know, how funnys that! Its currently charging. We don't have a CF card to put in it though, so probably no photos til tomorrow. We did have one floating around the place, but I can't find it!

I have a dog that has not once, ever tried to get onto the couch. I wouldn't let him on there anyway though, its mine He never ever tried to get onto a bed either, until one day I was sick and my OH put Riley on the bed to try and make me feel better. He hated being up there, but OH said good boy a few times and he sat down. The next day we couldn't find him, and I looked in the bedroom, and there he was sat on the bed wagging his tail so excited as he thought he'd done something right

I've got a kong shaped brush now that I use, but before that Id soak them in hot water for a bit to soften everything, then blast them with water to push all the bits out of it.

Yeah Ill be buying from the local place, unless DWI's price drops alot more. Im unsure whether to buy now at $1898 or see it the price goes down. It went up $100 a month or so back, so I don't want it to go up again. ETA- Bugger, it just went up to 1914 over night Maybe I should just go buy it now.

My OH has been known to "dusta busta" the dog Stupid thing is he just stands there. I think he actually likes it

I have been considering a purchase from DWI for a while, but I have been wondering about the customs duty, and if id have to pay it. Do they do a dodgy on the invoice with the value of the items? I've been reading some threads and some people have had bad experiences with DWI and Im now im really hesitant to buy from them. They have the 7D for $1545 currently, but I can get a non grey import one, from a local retail shop for $1898, with the canon warranty. Im probably going to go the local seller, unless DWI's price falls a fair bit more.

Everytime I pull the vacuum cleaner out (which can be twice a day!), as soon as Riley sees it he runs around and grabs all his toys that are out, and puts them in his bed. It's like he thinks the vacuum cleaner will eat them and he has to save them all. Once they're all in his bed he sits there and guards them and once the vacuum cleaner is put away he plays with them all, and once again they're spread all over the lounge room floor (until the toy eating machine comes back out again) The broom must eat biscuits as well, as when I get the broom out to sweep the laundry floor where Riley's bowl is, if theres any biscuits left, he'll run out and gobble them all up as soon as he sees the broom. I swear I've never sucked a toy up in the vacuum cleaner, and I don't sweep the dog bowl

Interesting. I thought I read something about 6 months back saying that all dogs had to be restrained in cars, and was under that opinion since. I used to travel with Riley in the back of the 4wd, but recently I've started putting him on the back seat in a car safety harness. I just kept thinking how bad it would be if someone ran up the back of me and crushed him in the boot.

Bit late, but I like the first one. I didn't even notice the dog with the blue until I read the posts about it. Now I can see the dog though I like it even more as it feels likes its more of a race. (my opinions as a crappy photographer so I really have no idea! )
