I'd send them a quick email back, if i was in a good mood!

He sounds like my Giant Schnauzer who is 12 in a few days time. It is hard to see them starting to act old, but great to still see the puppy playfulness show sometimes!

Should I Or Shouldn't I? Any Thoughts Appreciated.

hmmm, if it was sold as a young kids dog and to live outside - would this pup be better off for being returned to such a breeder? (providing they knew age of kid and living circs prior to sale) -
but if you don't promote the dog, how are you going to afford the next holiday, new outfit, decorating the house, buying a new car.....? (said tongue in cheek!)

for those times when you just can't decide on a yellow or choc lab!

I see no reason why your daughter shouldn't use this dog to have a go at showing and see if she likes doing it. If she does, then you could put your names down for a show quality pup in the future. many of us started with a dog who wasn't up to the quality of the champ show winners, but they were dogs that taught us how to handle, groom and how to accept the judges decisions. i've seen a few come and go just as quickly who arrived in the ring with a good dog and as soon as the 2nd dog didn't win as much they were gone from the sport.

The easiest way is to buy the frontline spray, then you can give exact dosage to each dog.

Does Anyone Have A Permanently Plumbed In Hydrobath?

I still think it is easier to have a power shower over a belfast sink or normal bath. -
i'm of no help with this, I can't get my mind past 'H Windy Man'

these are snap on blades, that fit over a tongue on your clipper.
-
Depends on the dog, some do need the face clipped, some just need a few hairs stripped and others are fine.

I prefer oster blades, wahl and laube blades go blunt and rusty very quickly

Is It Normal For Golden Retrievers

just the same as having a few white hairs in dark dogs! -
have a look at the 'confetti' mini schnauzers!

sounds like they over slept or messed up the time of the flight and so claimed to not be able to find your address for so long and it all just snowballed down hill from there. Shame the pups are the ones to suffer.

Why not just let her out on the concrete area you paid for?
-
Can someone tell me what the 2x2 is for weave training? This is an area i need to start training properly now.

I think it is nice to NOT include everything, part of the excitment of getting a new puppy is to go to the pet shop to buy toys, bowls, leads, bedding etc.

No matter what the rules say, I would refuse and tell them why it would be better to wait a while longer - some people do listen!

Salivation & Unsteady On Back Legs
becks replied to k9angel's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
i'd check the back, could have put their back out and the drool was just from being in pain. -
That doesn't look to bad at all in the first picture. Dogs like that i stick straight in the bath, shampoo, condition and then blow dry with a stand dryer while brushing out the loose. I've seen much worse then that and used a blaster on the coat first to remove a lot of loose coat and dirt. i'd say you were doing an Ok job and knew to get help at the right time!

most groomers work saturdays, so we tend to be closed on Mondays and Sundays. You may not be able to get her booked in with a groomer for a few days or week or so, depending on how busy they are with regular clients. However, you should be able to book in a bit of time for a chat and a quick demo on how to groom out.

wouldn't it be easier to just have one of those showers that attach to the hot and cold taps in the laundry, instead of all that extra plumbing? i think there was a thread in the grooming section a few months back about how to build your own hydrobath.

I agree, mistakes happen - it is what happens after the mistake they tells us more about a company. Name them and let them get more business!

Did you clean the blade before using it? Sometimes they cover them with a bit to much 'anti rust/preservative' which needs to come off with a soak overnight in blade wash, then they should be good to go. tlc - are you using the 5 on a clean, dry and brushed out coat?
