Seeing as you're still reading and posting in this thread Kristina, can you please point us in the direction of any Dutchies here in Australia who do not come from working lines?

Thanks.

I'm very interested too. My understanding was that the bitch was from KNPV lines. Not show lines.

It has been mentioned many times that the litter was accidental.

uh huh. Along with the other litter they plan to take to the pet stores?

That's pure speculation, Nekhbet.

I could say that Kristina also enjoys kicking orphans and pushing old people into traffic but that wouldn't make it true. Stick to facts, otherwise Troy is going to pull the plug on this thread too.

Edited to add..

Snarkiness?? What's with that?

It's an automatic reaction to percieved drama llama'ing. The percieved llama may not have had dramatic intentions, hence the post got edited.

Where was it mentioned MANY times? Is there other threads?

I wouldn't mind being a llama right now actually

Where do these ''High drive dogs'' that end up in pet stores come from? where does any of the dogs that end up in pet stores come from? I have yet to know of a reputable breeder who would sell to a pet store.

I think it's disgusting that so many people have had to give up their time, energy, resources trying to clean up some one else's stupid mistake.

Puppy farmers.

I cannot imagine any responsible ethical breeder selling their babies to a pet store.

Yup...I know a few breeder's, all registered, and reputable. None of them would even consider selling to a pet store.

Guess that's the difference between an ethical breeder and some one with no ethics who is only interested in the money

Oh ye, the money, stupid. U'd make a hell of a lot more by selling private.

can i ask you why the pups werent sold privately? seems to me that would have been a better option for everyone.

Er, she tried..............................on gumtree

ok so the next question is why didnt they sell, why did the breeder not keep the puppies until suitable homes were found?

ets i have no issues with puppies being sold on gumtree i just dont understand why they ended up in a pet shop

There was a 11 page (well.. it was 11 pages before I got bored with reading it and went to have a nanna nap) thread on this.. either yesterday or the day before.

The original mention of the litter being accidental is still in whichever breed thread.

Either way.. there seem to be claims to a different effect now anyway so.. who knows

Exactly, tons of HIGH prey drive dogs are sold not only by pet shops but by ppl with no idea what they're breeding. Why does everyone label these pups as angerous?? Who says they're not suitable as pets?? I guess u're all experts now, must have owned heaps of the years, NOT!!!!

I know who bred the pups and i know for a fact that none are going out of shops as a result of all this crap, if anything it will raise their price, so keep going, shops should be happy. The shops are making sure they go to right homes, not all shops are dumb and careless.

Get ur facts straight before u start shit. But then again forums are full of ppl with nothing better to do then butt into other ppls business and try to start problems

I personally spoke to one of the shop assistants and she had absolutely no idea what "working lines" - "high drive" was.

One MALE pup was sold to a first time dog owner - with NO clue as to what they were buying....so if you call that "making sure they go to right homes" then we all know who the fool is here....

If you really think there is nothing wrong with breeding that litter - selling to a pet shop with no interest in the future of the pups - placing them in pet homes I really hope they ALL come back to you instead of being dumped or pts. I just hope all your "chickens" come home to roost....then you will be forced to clean up your own mess.....I just hope that no one is hurt or you would also have a legal issue to deal with as well knowingly selling dogs that are not suited to inexperienced family homes...

no its not - I have it in black and white in front of me. Along with other interesting things from Kristina. I dont make things up.

If you have evidence that Kristina is selling more puppies to pet shops or breeding for this purpose, feel free to post it. If not, I'm afraid I'm going to have assume it is speculation and ignore it

Glad to see at least one person in here with a brain

Why weren't the dogs kept seperated so to not produce an "oops litter"

Why; when you learnt that the bitch was pregnant did you not abort?

Why; when the pups were born, did you not cull these puppies?

How come you sold them to a petshop?

And not just any petshop; one with a known reputation?

If all the information in the last three threads are wrong like you say they are then WHY are you not setting the record straight.

This does not look good on you or your breeding practises at all. I wouldn't be suprised if alot of DOLers report you to your canine council.

As I mentioned earlier the OWNER who hands in/sells the puppies have their details recorded, it may not be too difficult to source that information.

I don't think even Pets Paradise would protect the name/integrity of someone that has landed them with such a negative public outpouring especially knowing that this is not a suitable cross breed for a first time puppy owner which would be their key clientele.

I just prefer to see evidence before going to all the effort of unpacking my torch and pickfork. It's another symptom of my laziness, really.

On a slightly related note.. The people tossing around the words like "idiot" and what-have-you might want to just bear in mind the forum rule about not attacking other members. Just sayin'

I have a litter of dutch x shep pups. They were born early sat morning. Had 13 but one got squashed, so now 6 each. Sooooo cute.
6 are brindle and i'm guessing the other 6 will be sable.

The mum is from the first litter of dutchies born in aust. Dad is a sable shep.

You said it yourself.

though you're lying to us all anyway..

Going by your previous post jata about the pups new owner then it seems the mystery has been solved  I hope that this particular cross if it "accidently" happens again and they end up in shops that PP (and other shops approached to discard them) remember the attention this litter has given them and turns them down

So if u all know about mum, do enlighten me as to what her breed is cos i can tell u it's not a dutch but u all must be right.

If everyone is on the wrong track then why not clear it up? Honestly not trying to be smart at all, but if I were you and none of this was true I'd be clearing it all up straight away, if you haven't done anything wrong why leave everyone thinking you have? Just how I'd react I guess.

And first time dog owners are more often than not the ones that purchase from pet shops cos they don't know any better!

You're not wrong there! They even think it's the right place to go. Like the way you go to specialty stores for all sorts of other things.

Little do they know, there's no specialist knowledge about dog breeds to be found there. The people with that, are the ethical, experienced registered breeders.
