Cheers :) . Was the first 'semi' photoshoot (be it just for a friend) I've done with the owner willing/wanting to go to a location and help out......... well no that the staffy listened at all, it was best to get Striker to herd him up or the tennis ball, haha.

Snoopy you have taken some amazing photos! I've also seen Ken at work in his studio so was quite interested when I came across his free e-book for photographing pets with your iphone through a link on a digital copy of Dog's Life mag. The reason I mention it is because he had some great tips on the rule of thirds that you might find useful in your compositions. I can't give you a link to it unfortunately but Ken and Bec are so amazing that if you call them they might email you a copy. Or you can PM me your email addy and I'll send you a copy of mine. It was free so I don't think sharing is breaching anything with Zoo.

But you, your camera and your furry companions are making some beautiful images together.

haha Snoopy, classic, that's what a friends mother calls me!

I'll have a search. Ken's work is great. I'm trying to pay more attention to composition, even if it's in post via cropping. Action shots, especially with dogs though I've found are less open to shooting with such in mind at the time, just getting the crazy buggers in focus is no.1 priority haha.

Thanks peoples :)

haha, it's ok Little Gifts, I though it was funny as because it's happened before!

Snook, yeah the 35mm was all I had to start with (log shot), now I don't think I use it enough with dogs, all to quick to toss the zoom on and capture some action.

A few more shot over the weekend just south of the Tweed River, Striker and his Boyfriend Zeus. His facial expressions are pretty funny at speed.

"Gotta get the ball, gotta get the ball, gotta get the ball" . Hahahahaha, classic

Great shots as always Spoony, so sharp. Not an easy task, as you say, with zooming dogs

I know a few follow on Flickr anyways, but I got my camera back after 2 months (insurance damage repair), so interesting has been re-sparked. A few updated for the past little while.
