My BC has a strong dislike of certain breeds. No real reason for it. I am certainly not causing it as she can react before I have even seen the dog. GSD and GR are the most hated breeds. She isn't keen on gundogs in general. Seems to like other herding breeds. When she is onlead she doesn't like any other dog, not even the dog she lives with.

How horrible for the inspectors to have to deal with that Hopefully the dogs can be saved.

One of my current pet peeves is people that get all offended when I cross roads, put my dogs on lead etc. Sick to death of being told that their dogs are fine and having them actually chase me to prove it!!! It might not be YOUR dog that they are worried about it might be THEIRS!!!

Think the main reason for choosing the bike is the people can't run that far! You can run though!

My council does have reduced rates for an obedience trained dog. Ok it is the same price as for a desexed dog but the thought is there.

I have 2 dog beds and the crate in the kitchen. There is always one dog in the crate. It appears to be the prized sleeping place.

They can't or they don't want to? Can't. They are unable to create an enclosure to meet the specifications due to the way their backyard is constructed. Can we help at all with ideas?

Fair enough if the dog jumps into the cat's garden and kills the cat. Not fair if the cat jumps into the dog's garden (after spending a couple of weeks annoying the dog from the top of the fence).

You said in your other thread that you wouldn't contemplate buying from a BYB and yet this is what you are now doing?

Err no a pit bull is a pit bull. It is a breed not a description. Perhaps you are thinking about 'pig dogs'.

Both restricted and dangerous dogs are supposed to be onlead and muzzled. A dangerous dog is supposed to have a yellow and red striped collar on.

Has is been reported yet how the dogs came to be out? Probably need to know that before the owners can be blamed.

Try giving them to a cat!!! OMG. My advice is to buy some empty gel capsules and put the tablet in them.

I am glad that you got your refund. Hard to be happy though, hey? I hope the breeder learnt a lesson from this. I hope that you are blessed with border collie puppy breath soon.

Can I ask what the enzymes cost? I have a cat that might have pancreas problems, just waiting on further tests. I currently can't find any food that isn't causing liquid poo. I asked in the cat section but I think it is quite rare in cats.

Yeah, but there's obviously different kinds of disposal according to others. So you buried his ashes? Sorry, I don't understand... Sounds like the vet placed the dog's body in a nice bag. I've buried ashes before. Easier to dig a small hole.

That might be the nature of the dogs rather than the training. Out of my 5 border collies, Amber is the only one that will offer behaviors and they have all been trained the same.

I would suggest going through a breed rescue group. I've helped a couple of people get lovely dogs this way.
