Dog In Deep Grief; Any Ideas For Recover?
persephone replied to suziwong66's topic in General Dog Discussion
in dogs who live in such close companionship - yes, it takes time. Extra nourishing food - maybe some B vitamins , and an adaptil spray/collar , but basically don't force her - and keep up as normal a routine as possible . -
The red ones are just gorgeous, aren't they? I have only ever known a couple . Good luck - and yes, wait until your girl is mature and well mannered :)

I did wonder - the labradore looked reasonable , the dobe - well looked dobeish ..the offspring looks black, and narrow ,with a white spot on chest anyhow - just one of those things , which I should have ignored ;)
-
*sigh* I shouldn't have even commented - however , does anyone have any facts/numbers on teh likelihood of a dobeX lab pup having a naturally occuring 'dobe' short tail?

a cat enclosure ..outdoors? Locking cats in one or two rooms during the day? Tricky. as for an indoor loo - for urine, I heartily recommend the Conni Pet pads!! they are terrific - VERY absorbent ...not unsightly ..and easily washed/dried quickly .

Advice For Feeding New Puppy And Existing Dog.
persephone replied to Suzistar's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
..and please do not feed them together - a new puppy will more than likely go investigate, as she did with mum or littermates - and your dog will be within its rights to snap at her ! Don't encourage this - feed them out of sight of each other to avoid any hassles :) It is good for puppy to learn to eat alone .... :) -
I find it a bit odd that you have watched this collapse on several occasions , and not sought a vet's opinion ... Once would be enough for me! How old is this dog?
