  4. good point, Jemmy ... The registration doesn't worry me as much as if the parents have had health testing done .
  5. That's lovely :) he has an all-round halo !
  6. apparently ......... *shrug* Don't usually spend time on silly ads - but this intrigued me ...
  7. LOL the answer to my query about the dobe's breeding , and some explanation of bobtail ...? I like when kiddies get upset ;)
  8. terry L - check the prefix name with dogs NSW . - if you have concerns/facts , that the ad was misleading , contact the forum admin. troy click HERE When you asked about pedigree papers , what did the breeder say ?
  9. ad has been removed anyhow .... poor thing will probably end up in pound
  10. I did wonder - the labradore looked reasonable , the dobe - well looked dobeish ..the offspring looks black, and narrow ,with a white spot on chest anyhow - just one of those things , which I should have ignored ;)
  11. *sigh* I shouldn't have even commented - however , does anyone have any facts/numbers on teh likelihood of a dobeX lab pup having a naturally occuring 'dobe' short tail?
  12. ..exactly how much does this wee doggy have in his piggy bank???? if he has LOTS - then this looks excellent! LINK excerpt
  13. if the cats weigh more than a tiny dog - he may well miss out!
  14. a cat enclosure ..outdoors? Locking cats in one or two rooms during the day? Tricky. as for an indoor loo - for urine, I heartily recommend the Conni Pet pads!! they are terrific - VERY absorbent ...not unsightly ..and easily washed/dried quickly .
  15. ..and please do not feed them together - a new puppy will more than likely go investigate, as she did with mum or littermates - and your dog will be within its rights to snap at her ! Don't encourage this - feed them out of sight of each other to avoid any hassles :) It is good for puppy to learn to eat alone .... :)
  16. I find it a bit odd that you have watched this collapse on several occasions , and not sought a vet's opinion ... Once would be enough for me! How old is this dog?
  17. poor lexie has had this for so long - it would be good to find someone who can help!! yes.
  18. Tallie is an indoor only girl - apart from her outdoor enclosure , which she uses only rarely! It is a lovely enclosure ... she prefers sleeping on my bed ;) Only old cats are allowed free range ....
  19. Mc Dowells have a vet on staff - and mixtures I use are all very different . A couple of ingredients are often a base ..and yes, they smell strong . They will also provide various supplements if they think it's warranted , Last time there was a big bag full of seeds ...forget what it was ... Hands-on? No . Chewie, if you can find a good hands on holistic practitioner - by all means go there! I use Mc Dowell a lot, as holistic vets/naturopaths etc are a long way away from where I live ..
  20. I suggest you phone Mcdowells- and speak with them. They may ask you to fill out a diagnostic form etc. They tailor mixtures to suit individual cases..and are lovely caring people . Can't help you with any others, sorry.
  21. he just doesn't stay still!! :)
