That's not a very complete diet :) ..and liver is illegal to feed in tas Make sure most, if not all meat is on bone ..so there are sinews, skin, and bone for the dogs to chew and benefit from.. Can you find hald heads of pig.sheep ? Dogs usually love them . Raw fish is good :) Is there anywhere you can get whole fresh chickens? (as in plucked only ..but gut left in) ? or frozen day olds - like what is fed to reptiles? I would think a few of them each day would be a great source of extras for dogs ? :)

oHHHHH I am so sorry . Molly was lucky ,in that she had an owner who gave her love & so much care in her last months - You will cry- lots, probably , after the intense feelings lately - its OK :) When you are ready to once again vacuum dog hair and have something to cuddle , perhaps we can help you meet a suitable dog? Take care ... Molly is happy now over the rainbow bridge ....no more pain or confusion ....

The best option is to ask the breeder what they feed :) You said the breeder was fantastic - so they should have provided you with a diet sheet , etc to answer your questions. Feeding raw to large dogs is a bit tricky because of all the different mineral ratios needed to grow puppy bones slowly ... THIS THREAD may help .. esp. THIS PAGE

Don't let her off lead where there is a possibility of this type of distraction ....she doesn't sound ready. Keep up the praise/reward for being with you - remember ALL FUN/FOOD/ PLEASURE has its origins with YOU :) :)

pesh.... I know what you mean. For long time, I did no editing of my photos ..... and then realised that what I saw on screen was sometimes not really what I had seen with my eyes - and so now I do adjust some things so it looks more like how I saw it. I also digitally alter photos ...with effects - but obvious ones .

Sorry she is hurt .. and hope its not a break , poor little girl. As you have now been reminded - baby pups and jumping from height is not a good combination. Accidents happen- and all we can do is be mindful of their fragility and do our best . Keep us posted :)

Hmmm... I may be a bit cautious, but would be suggesting avoiding this litter of puppies , perhaps? being an auto immune disease ..there could be also other pups with problems ... something you don't want surprising you after getting a pup home and falling in love with it. I wish this little one a quick and uneventful recovery , and a good home at the end of it :)

maybe also get her eyes checked? Daylight might be too bright/uncomfortable?

x2 - the breeder should be the one telling you exactly how to raise the pup to be the best dog it can be. If they're not giving you this assistance then run away - very quickly! Good advice!!! laurenic ... Let the experienced Dane folks here guide you .

No Abnormalities Detected I would suggest between now & pup-pick-up date that you read and read all sorts of dog stuff :) Vet terminolgy/anatomy/basic behaviour all sorts, so that when someone talks to you - you can answer them confidently , and so you can better understand how your dog works! :)
