because it looked healed to her ? There probably was nothing she could see that indicated that healing was not complete ., or that it would split . 11 days is a good length of time normally .... Sometimes if we were not sure of a wound ..say in an area where skin was stretched .. or one under a lot of stress..we would take every 2nd stitch out ..,then the rest a couple of days later, maybe ...

She doesn't need gravy ..she's a dog ,and they have the good fortune to appreciate meat for its own taste :) couple of teaspoons per meal sounds a good amount to me ....

Depending on where the wound is.. she quite possibly scratched to relieve irritation from where stitches were ..and, bingo- all that nice tender new skin just split it happens. The AB injection was probably a long acting one ..and it seems to have worked .

poor little girl as said - leaving home at 6 weeks is not ideal ...and the diet she is on is more suited to humans than a growing puppy. I gather you did not take her to a vet for her 'I have a new pup, she needs to be thoroughly checked to see if everything is as it should be' check? Please do that tomorrow - so that IF there is something wrong, the breeder can be notified ASAP ...and if there's nothing wrong, then she has met the vet, been well checked over, and you will hopefully get some advice on caring for her :) being in a new home at that young age is a big stress .... but a puppy not interested in drinking/eating needs looking at . You may indeed, just be offering way too much food ! her tummy will only be able to hold a very small quantity at one time ....it may only be around walnut sized , after all....

all fingers crossed here that they suffer no great effects .
