  1. I'm not sure where , but I'd suggest just phoning a couple of vets and asking
  2. maybe ensure he has a patch of safe grass he can munch on..and plenty of bones etc to occupy him Perhaps buy some 'cat grass' for him? Some nurseries stock it . Otherwise, if you can just grow your own oat or barley or wheat in a large pot ... he will enjoy nibbling!
  3. if she's licking - there is a reason... usually an irritation of some sort - stress/allergy/pain .... removing the stain obviously doesn't stop the cause , so it seems time for some detective work ;)
  4. Ouch. poor thing. Hope it can be sorted in the morning
  5. I am so glad you will have these two youngsters in your home now There will be happy smiles and all teh ratbaggery associated with pups to help you recover from the horrible time you've had. I hope there'll be lots of photos and stories!
  6. that it's not parvo!! I hope now , with the right AB's and food, they will all be happy soon ...then do we get photos????
  7. LOL! I can understand why she had her running shoes on . Maybe start off with asking just a couple of questions.. and then try & do it by phone..when conversation can lead in different directions?
  8. ..and eating varnish/paint isn;'t terribly good for dogs ;)
  9. if he's trying to get to the rabbits... it may need a bit more than a varnish! Can you move either the dog or the hutch? Seems that it is his entertainment .... and as said- the pepper /bitter sprays or constant vigilance/correcting/redirecting may help - BUT if it is prey drive causing it..that's a whole 'nother story
  10. perhaps pm yellowgirl, or others who have CC's ?
  11. I don't have tiles.. but usually use domestos ..... rinsed with dilute vinegar.
  12. I would perhaps add on to his pen..and line it with either fake or real turf ...just in case so he is good in his area..but now has a new area with 'grass'. he is being such a good boy though!
  13. have a look on the D O L breeders pages ? contact staffy rescue ?
  14. Staffyluv, that's a lovely little epilogue. Ollie and you had many vet visits , and he would not have been worried , I'm sure .
  15. Cute ad - I like how he tried the jump at the finish
  16. BOINNNGGG!!!!!!!!!!!! :D So... snakes are pushed out of any sort of 'natural' habitat, and need to move elsewhere to find food/water/shelter. Where can they move? Backyards. That's all that's left.
  17. Oh..and atua .. we MUST have photos of this girl
  18. Am I the only one who feels that's it's a good thing no breed was named? I see it as attempting to tone down the hysteria ..by not mentioning a breed.. no one's nose is out of joint at 'their' breed being blamed .
  19. HERE is a link to a thread on fenugreek. personally, I'd only use it if a bitch is known to have lactation problems , or , after whelping a LARGE litter, she is not producing well. ( and producing well does not mean she staggers around looking like a dairy cow ;) ) I don't believe in encouraging a bitch to overproduce 'just in case'. It has its own problems
  20. Thankyou, thankyou for posting this I never think to look *sigh*
