And the diagnostic prize goes to.......................Pie! All was cured after she took a big Poo! She wont win any bravery medals that's for sure but I'm very relieved, I suppose I can honestly say, we both are. :laugh:

sad newsflash,Neko has hurt her back. I might have to take her to a vet/chiro tomorrow if she's no better by morning. she's twisted like a banana

I'm wondering if Des Fegan would see her. He's a qualified vet who then qualified as a chiro (I think) who works on racing greyhounds. He did see my racing whippets but doesn't want to see pets. I might try to get an appt. with him if she's still sore tomorrow.

Neko's appeared fine all day but I noticed about 2 hours ago when I was walking them all to the car she appeared twisted. She was crying a bit too and it wasn't her normal excited because we're going for a walk voice. When I picked her up to put her in the car she whimpered. She was willing to run at the park until I stopped her but since we've come home she's just been laying down. You can clearly see how she's twisted. She ducked away from my touch in the places I've marked. I dont think it's an emergency vet job but I'm wondering who I should take her to if she's still sore tomorrow, a vet or chiro. My poor baby!

He's alot darker now, you can see where he's white, I hadn't noticed it before.

Iggy Mum gave me that collar a couple of years ago, long before Neko was even a twinkle in her fathers eye. It was too small for any of my current dogs but I liked it so much I kept it. IM must be psychic, she knew one day I'd have the perfect puppy for it. :laugh: :laugh:

thankyou. I think they're pretty stunning too. The boys are so rough when they play with each other but they've learnt now to be gentle with Neko, I'm so proud of them. They are 9 years old and still act like puppies.

I'd make sure it was good and dead and then just chuck it. I dont see why you cant burn it. If you dont want to torture it then squash it first.

thanks, I had a lovely day, got taken out to lunch, got a bottle of Baileys and some other goodies and then took a whole pack of dogs up the park, all of mine and Iggy mums, so 10 in all and let them run like crazy. A great way to end the day.

I haven't posted for a while. Here's my cheeky girl this morning. Sadly, that toy has since been gutted by Tag or Puck, as is their way when toys venture outside.

Is Dogs NSW the name of the controlling canine authority in NSW?

Santa left his calling card. I took this on Christmas morning on my way to a friends place, I stopped at St Ronans well. Obviously Santa must have stopped earlier to water his reindeer and kindly left his card. :)

I'm a registered breeder and although I haven't bred a litter for years, and dont intend to in the near future, if I was going to, I would have to use papers and online sites because I'm not able to advertise thought the vic whippet association as I'm no longer a member.

I suspect the vic whippet association's claim that it is against the VCA code of ethics is untrue although I haven't looked it up myself to confirm.

I know the vic whippet association actively discourage people from buying from newspapers and claim they're all puppy farmers. They then mention they might be VCA reg but ask to see the papers. Here's a quote from their site. "Reputable breeders do not need to sell their puppies through these channels and it also against the code of ethics of our governing body the VCA." Claims like this dont help. I see nothing wrong with advertising in the paper or on gumtree, you still need to screen buyers how ever they come to you.
