Poor loyal dog, just protecting his person. Did they have to shoot him again to put him out of his suffering or did he just die shortly after that thrashing around? I can understand the policemens stress with so many sniggering onlookers, like it was a party atmosphere, not just the twit with the dog, in a potentially dangerous situation. So sad that lovely dog had to pay for his owners stupid actions.

Oh God, that is heartbreaking to watch. You are an angel YG for taking on little sick neglected dogs like this. I couldn't do it. I also cannot help but wonder about the financial cost to you as well as the enormous emotional drain, emergency vets in the middle of the night it must be very hard for you. I hope the little boy is comfortable now and will recover to see happier days ahead.

My first thought about your puppys condition was worms. I know I was very diligent with the worming of Pennys puppies but there was still one who had them. I suppose you'd need to know what is actually wrong with the puppy. It would be pointless getting another pup from the same breeder if there's a chance it could have the same condition. It would also be a difficult decision to knowingly fly a sick puppy back to the breeder if there was a chance it would die in transit or shortly after from the stress. I'm sorry the joy and excitement of getting your new puppy has turned out this way and I hope the pup can recover to lead a normal healthy life.

what a cheek to be asking for her back!!!! I hope you forward her details on to the RSPCA and she's charged with cruelty neglect withholding veterinary treatment and abandonment, and anything else they can think of, as well getting a fine from council for having unregistered dogs!

Even a whippet would fail the height restrictions. Not only having them taken away would be bad enough, but their fate.................

That's a worry. have you got many full face shots of her taken before you noticed it. Can you go back over them and look carefully to see what her pupils were like in them?

I really love that Joe from Thailand on Etsy. I didn't know you could get that much detail with charcoal, I certainly haven't when I've mucked about with it. :laugh: I've noticed there's some really talented Asian artists, alot coming out of China now too. The last 2 times I went to the Archies there were several artists from China with amazingly detailed paintings.
