what a beautiful place!

I've admired this breed for a while now, from their description they are small, perhaps even smaller than the modern whippet. Wazzat mentioned a while back that they were coming to Australia. Anyone know if there's an update on that?
-
No, I would think the mere fact that one is male and one is female would automatically go against the definition of "identical" I only put that comment there because the heading says they're identical. But it seems the OP has further information so perhaps you and I are wrong.

they cant be indentical twins though.

Just Loving Our Puppy To Bits ! :)

What a pretty girl she is. Isn't it fun when they turn out be every bit as wonderful, and more, as you'd hoped they would be. -
Oh the poor little thing, it's a lovely photo of her but yes, she doesn't look "right" for a greyhound does she.

I often go shopping and leave my dogs in the car, but I'm careful about the weather and where I park. I always park in the shade, leave the windows down a few inches and now leave the sun roof open a bit as well. I've never come back to distressed dogs. I wouldn't be taking dogs out in this weather though, way too hot.

I'm friends with a girl in Norway and she has this lovely Staffordshire Bull Terrier that she puts alot of time into training. Her latest trick is to get him to balance on his butt on a ball! I dont know how she does it all but he's always happy and willing. She's been taping his progress from the time he was a puppy. If you want to have a look see here. http://wrigglebutts.com/training/training-videos/

I wonder if she is quiet is it because she is in pain. I would imagine dogs can get headaches, could she have one? Can you post a photo of her compared with her siblings. I've never seen a puppy with hydrocephalus. I hope it's not a bad case and she can live a good life but the stories of other peoples experiences aren't great. Good luck with her.

Poor Harry. He looks like a border collie or maybe BC cross but why the not a kelpie heading?
-
Perhaps ask in the Health and Nutrition forum. Rappie the vet might know.

I've got 2 iggies staying with me for a couple of days. Since we're in for a heat wave for the next 10 days, I close the curtains in an effort to keep the heat out. Little Zoey likes to sit on the back of my sofa so I've got that blanket there to protect the leather. I thought she looked pretty in the dark with just a bit of light from the doorway on her. 5F6A4861dpptcr by kirislin, on Flickr 5F6A4864dpptcr by kirislin, on Flickr

aaah so even better! thanks :D

Rappies update :D I've got this posted in General as well in case you hadn't seen it. I feel alot more optimistic now that it is just the normal progression in the healing process. I will continue to photograph the eye for a record.
-
Rappie thanks so much for looking in and explaining that to me. You've given me alot of reassurance. I'm sure if I didn't know what you and Andrew have told me I'd have a one eyed dog by now. I'll keep taking photos of the progress then.
-
I thought it does have a browner look, but I'm not sure, and the centre white spot looks more definite now, but I'm not sure if it's just the progression it goes through as it's healing, that's what I'm hoping. If it is getting worse, it's fairly slow, I'm trying not to worry. So long as it doesn't spread anywhere else, I suppose if she looses and eye but that's all, she and I can live with that.
-
My own feeling is, it's changed, the blood looks browner, not so fresh and red, and the white spot perhaps looks more obvious, but I dont know if that's a bad thing, perhaps it's just the way it progresses as it's healing??

Ok, so what do you think, is it the same, better, or worse. Photos are dated. 20/2/13 Kibahs tumour? by kirislin, on Flickr 26/2/13 5F6A4804dppt by kirislin, on Flickr and today 5/3/13 5F6A4828dppt by kirislin, on Flickr

Do I Need A Copy Of Both The Parents' Health Check?
Kirislin replied to merikuri's topic in General Dog Discussion
Hand written? They could write anything. I know nothing about the procedure for testing hips and elbows but that doesn't sound very official to me. -
I wonder if it would be possible to foster some other newborns in need, perhaps from a bitch that has a big litter, although not sure if that would give the puppy enough socialisation as the owner would probably want them back at 6 weeks if not sooner. Just a thought though.
-
that's very cool. Do your dogs have an agent?

I missed the Canon IQ and I had a really bad experience with Nikon Professional Services over three months that affected my business. that's disappointing. I thought Nikon were supposed to be top notch, and alot of people think their IQ is superior to Canon, although I cannot say myself having never owned one. I hope they are aware their shoddy service has lost them a customer.

I'd never heard of them before so I just looked them up. They look very cute and lively, if I didn't know it was an actual breed I'd probably think it might be a mix of Miniature Pinscher and/or Italian Greyhound and/or Manchester terrier, and maybe even a bit of Chihuahua.
